Sean P Diddy Combs is now behind bars, miserable as ever as he awaits the start of his trial brought against him by the federal authorities. In jail since September, he has been accused of s*x trafficking and racketeering as well as a couple of other similar crimes by more than 100 people.
Given how hard it must be for somebody of his stature to adjust to a ‘jail’ lifestyle, Diddy is reportedly willing to pay a hefty sum to get bail. But as fate would have it, his two bail appeals have already been denied, while the third one is being considered.
Diddy is Having a Hard Time Adjusting to ‘Jail’ Lifestyle
Sean P Diddy Combs’s life turned upside down when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura filed an abuse lawsuit against him last year. While they settled it down mutually, out of the public eye, it opened a Pandora’s box that continues to create ripples across the world.
In Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Centre since September, the rapper apparently has been having a hard time in jail, and food is the hardest for him, as PEOPLE.com reports. And he has been trying his best to escape jail time and get bail.
Having appealed for bail twice, both of his former pleas, including the one with a $50 million bail proposal, have been denied. His attorneys have yet again appealed for bail, leading to Circuit Judge William J. Nardini denying his immediate release while a three-judge panel is debating about his bail plea (via Associated Press).
While he has been trying to get house arrest instead of being lodged in jail, it seems unlikely that his recent bail plea will be accepted. Given how Diddy was willing to pay $50 million for bail, his reputation, alleged crimes, and the many upcoming lawsuits against him make it seem that he will not be getting bail anytime soon before his trial begins on May 5, 2025.
