What is Billy not telling Dawn?[/caption]
In scenes yet to air, Dawn (Olivia Bromley) confronts Billy (Jay Kontzle) about money she found.
Billy is soon forgiven after he brushes it off as savings for a surprise.
However, after Dawn goes back upstairs, shifty Billy calls someone to ask for more work.
It is the latest turbulence in the couple’s dramatic lives.
However, fans have been unimpressed as they took to a fan forum to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “God I can’t take another second of Dawn, Billy and their bubble.
“Dull as dishwater. Always angst ridden. Always moaning. Same scene played again and again and again.”
Another referred to the storyline as “a bit of a nail in the coffin for the characters” as they said: “At this point I can’t imagine seeing Dawn in a positive light again.
“They have made her such an insufferable, self-righteous grasping cretin.
“The sick child storyline hasn’t helped, it has just magnified her negative qualities.”
Kim finally exposed her for spiking Dawn and Will agreed to help in getting rid of Rose.
Darkest soap storylines
Over the years the likes of EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street have all tried to try outdo each other with their outlandish plots in a bid to keep us tuning in each week. But here are some of the darkest that had fans in shock…
EastEnders: Tony grooming Whitney (2008-2009) – Tony King first appeared in Albert Square in 2008 as the boyfriend of Bianca, played by Patsy Palmer. But it was quickly revealed he was a paedophile who had been grooming vulnerable Whitney, Bianca’s adopted stepdaughter from a previous relationship, since she was 12. The shocking storyline attracted more than 200 complaints within a week of it beginning. Whitney waited until her 16th birthday to reveal the truth to a horrified Bianca, who called the police.
Emmerdale: Holly’s drug addiction and shock death (2010-2016) – In 2010, Holly Barton (played by Sophie Powles) became Emmerdale’s first teenage drug addict. The shocking storyline saw her taking cocaine on a night out before developing a deadly heroin habit. Parents John and Moira desperately tried to help get their daughter clean but when Holly returned in 2016, following a four-year absence, she quickly relapsed. Fans were left stunned and heartbroken when distraught Moira found Holly dead in her bed from a heroin overdose.
Hollyoaks: Luke’s rape (2000) – Actor Gary Lucy was just 17 when he took on this groundbreaking storyline, which saw his character Luke Morgan become soap’s first male rape victim. Luke had endured a long-running bullying campaign by football rival Mark Gibbs – who raped him after Luke stood up to him. Luke was left suicidal following the brutal attack, before opening up to his brother Adam. Gibbs was sentenced to eight years in prison. Gary won the Best Actor gong at the British Soap Awards in 2000 for his performance.
Coronation Street: Evil Richard Hillman (2001-2003) – Just a mere mention of ‘Richard Hillman’ is enough to send a shiver down the spines of soap fans. He is often ranked one of the most evil soap villains and it’s not hard to see why. The smooth-talking financial adviser bashed his ex-wife Patricia over the head with a shovel. In a bid to keep his mother-in-law Audrey quiet, he set fire to her house. And when Maxine caught him trying to murder Emily Bishop, he took a crowbar to her head. He made his exit from the cobbles in 2003 when he drove Gail Platt, played by Helen Worth, and her family into the canal. They survived, but he didn’t.
The pair drove her out of town and bribed her so she would never return.
The youngster moved to live with her dad Dom Everett, who went back on the £10,000 bribe Eliza’s grandfather Stu had offered to keep him out of her life.
The Weatherfield legend left his family and loved ones behind on Boxing Day, 2023, when his wife Carla Connor encouraged him to travel around the world with a friend.
Simon’s been on a downward spiral ever since and his exit could end in tragedy.
Alya Nazir is set to leave the cobbles as actress Sair Khan prepares to go on maternity leave ahead of the birth of her first child.
It looks likely she’ll be heading to Dublin after securing a lucrative new job, leaving her colleague and fling Adam Barlow behind.
Show stalwart Sue Cleaver, who plays Eileen Grimshaw, is taking a break to star in the Sister Act The Musical UK tour. She will be back filming in May once her dates on the tour come to an end.
Her character left the Street after her son Jason broke his back after falling off a moped in Asia.
Suki throws Vinny a birthday party[/caption]
But are tensions rising once again with father Nish?[/caption]
Or could the family feud be thawed for good?[/caption]
Over the months, Vinny has tried to hide that he is planning to work against his own father with Nish equally having done the same.
As part of the many Panesar mind games, Vinny has been seemingly remaining loyal to Nish in order to stay on his good side and to use it to his and Suki’s benefit.
However, in upcoming scenes, the so-called master plans will seemingly begin to unravel.
Next week, Suki and Eve will join forced to throw Vinny a birthday party at the local Walford gay bar The Prince Albert.
However, they make it clear that Nish is not welcome at his son’s shindig.
Meanwhile, Nish gets wind that undercover police are digging into the chicken shop business that he owns and so he decided to come up with a cunning plan which will have devastating consequences for Vinny.
Amidst the chaos, and unaware of his father’s planned deceit, Vinny decided to offer an olive branch and invite Nish to the party.
Realising his son is being genuine and showing true emotion, Nish steps up as his dad and decides to attend all the while shelving plans for his big elaborate plot.
As the party gets underway, Suki is taken aback when she speaks with Nish and he offers up compliments on her parenting skills.
The rare heartfelt comments shock her and his nice act continues when he offers up a very precious present for Vinny to mark his birthday.
When Vinny shows the incredible gift to Suki, she is left unconvinced and determines that it is a cheap stunt to win Vinny over.
This causes her to force Vinny into making a decision which could lead to catastrophic consequences.
Plus, will Nish be able to keep up his heartwarming gestures to Vinny or will his evil side rise once again?
