Masashi Kishimoto has made several Naruto characters reprise their roles in Boruto. However, one character’s existence has still not been acknowledged in the series. While Kakashi Hatake did debut in the Boruto anime, he has yet to play a role in the manga.
His surprising absence in the manga has not gone unnoticed. And it is prime time for him to return in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex series, as a sensei. Whose sensei, you ask? The best candidate to receive his teachings is Sarada Uchiha.
Kakashi is the Ideal Master for Sarada in Boruto
Kakashi is one of the most talented ninjas in Konohagakure. He might have a particular dislike for responsibility, but as Naruto’s sensei, he brought a lot to the table. He emphasized teamwork in his lessons and demonstrated a deep understanding of the struggles and strengths of individuals. He was one of the few people to recognize Naruto’s potential early on in the series and helped him harness his abilities.
At the moment, Sarada Uchiha does not have a proper mentor to help her reach the maximum of her abilities. And who else can be summoned to the task if not Kakashi? Sarada and Naruto’s mindsets match in most circumstances, which proves that only Kakashi can bring out the best in her. Sarada has always idolized Naruto, but he has taken Kawaki as his disciple, leaving Sarada is dire need of a mentor.

Sarada is often called the Naruto of her generation. She embodies the Hokage’s determination and strong work ethic. She also wants to become a Hokage and is hell-bent on protecting her friends and village. This mirrors Naruto’s aspirations when he was young.
Just like how Naruto was the more cooperative one amongst Team 7, Sarada also understands the importance of teamwork. This makes her the perfect candidate for Kakashi Hatake to teach because she has already crossed half the hurdle. She understands her teammates and supports them relentlessly. Her sense of camaraderie reflects on Naruto’s personality and attitude.
Naruto always had a strong moral compass in the franchise and stood up for what was right at every turn of events. Sarada can be considered the same as she often puts the needs of others before her own. Their actions and decisions are similar, making Sarada the perfect receptacle for Kakashi’s training.
To conclude, Sarada is the spitting image of Naruto’s traits in the new era. Thus, if anyone could teach her, it would be Naruto’s previous sensei.
