The popular scent that was once adored by our elders and parents, it seems like now Gen Z’s are loving CK One by Calvin Klein – the iconic fragrance that has stood the test of time since its launch in 1994.
This unisex scent is both bold and clean, yet down-to-earth and universal, making it a fragrance for everyone.
It opens with refreshing top notes of pineapple, mandarin orange, papaya, bergamot, cardamom, and lemon. The heart of the fragrance features a blend of green tea, rose, violet, nutmeg, orris root, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley, culminating in a warm finish of musk, amber, sandalwood, cedar, and oakmoss.
Talking of Moss, Kate was actually the face of the CK One campaign in the 1990s, which played a crucial role in the fragrance’s success.
Kate, along with other models, was featured in minimalist black-and-white ads that embodied the grunge era’s spirit of androgyny and rebellion. These campaigns, shot by renowned photographers like Steven Meisel, helped cement CK One’s status as a cultural icon.
