Some Connections puzzles can be quite tough to solve, so if the hints above have not really made things clear, today’s word groups should help simplify them even further:

  • Grassy Area

  • Movies With “S” Removed
  • _ Law

New York Times Connections Answers Today for October 17

If you have tried your best and still not succeeded, there is not any need to worry, as we have listed down the answers below to make today’s Connections puzzle a breeze to solve:

  • Grassy Area: Green, Lawn, Park, Yard
  • Deal With: Address, Answer, Field, Handle
  • Movies With “S” Removed: Car, Goodfella, Jaw, Swinger
  • _ Law: Criminal, Harvard, Lemon, Natural

A Field can easily be in the same group as Green, Lawn, Park, and Yard, but unfortunately, the word is not exactly being used in that context here, making it nearly impossible to realize that it fits with terms like Address and Answer.

Of course, when one sees the words Car and Park in the same table, the initial thought is naturally that they belong together, but who would have guessed that it actually refers to Lightning McQueen’s very first adventure?

Finally, relating the words in the Purple group with one another was definitely the most difficult part about today’s Connections puzzle, as although Criminal and Harvard may clearly refer to legal processes, the Law is not the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of Lemon and Natural.

But that is what makes Connections such a fun game to play, as every day brings a new challenge for dedicated players to complete, so if you were not able to solve today’s puzzle, there is always tomorrow.

And if that gives you trouble as well, rest assured that we will have yet another guide waiting for you. However, if you did achieve success with today’s Connections puzzle, many congratulations!

While waiting and preparing for tomorrow’s puzzle, you can also go on a quick trip down memory lane and check out yesterday’s challenge again.
