Ercan Ramadan is a British television personality and the husband of Vicky Pattison.

He was born on September 6, 1993, and gained fame as a cast member on Towie in 2016.

Before transitioning into the world of social media and reality television, he worked as a builder and labourer.

Although he was approached to join Love Island in 2019, he decided not to pursue that opportunity out of respect for his relationship with Vicky.

The couple began dating in early 2019, following Vicky’s breakup with John Noble.

Moving together

In August 2019, the pair moved in together, after being together for eight months.

Their relationship quickly blossomed, with a brief split in early 2020 that they reconciled shortly after.

Vicky has admitted the couple had to have relationship therapy because they “stopped making each other happy”.

In November 2020, during an interview with Closer, Vicky opened up about their relationship.

She said: “We’re probably closer than a couple who have been together for less than two years should be, but I’m really happy with him.

“I’m just pleased to see that the more I learn about him, the more I love him. I’m a very lucky bug.”

Proposal in Dubai

In February 2022, Vicky announced their engagement on Instagram after Ercan proposed during a romantic getaway in Dubai.

She wrote: “I choose you and I’ll choose you over and over without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat… It’ll always be you.

“To our forever @ercan_ram.”

She also shared an image of her ring, with the caption, “I do…

“Sorry guys, I don’t want to bore anyone with engagement spam… but I’m just not over this beautiful moment, my beautiful man or this beautiful ring…

“Thank you all for your incredibly kind messages… We’re on cloud 9.”

While Vicky had hinted that children could be on the horizon, she has since said she would be putting it off further down the line.

In 2022, she started the process of freezing her eggs, saying: “It was important for me to be transparent because there isn’t enough genuine, honest information out there.”

However, Vicky mentioned that the responses were not all positive.

“I had some really horrible messages,” she says.

“I underestimated how much this would upset people.

Fertility can be triggering and it doesn’t always end in happiness.

” I tried to be sensitive but I wasn’t prepared for some people to be so cruel.

“People were saying ‘why don’t you just have a baby now you’ve got a boyfriend?’

“It is so toxic and outdated.

“I know so many people who had children with the wrong men because they were scared that they were running out of time.

“Why aren’t we celebrating women who say ‘this isn’t the right time and I want to give my future children the best start in life’?

“It is so important we all know there are many different routes to motherhood.”
