Kevin Feige Needs This in MCU: Marvel Race-Swaps Black Cat With Miles Morales and Felicia Hardy’s Daughter

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe marches towards blowing the multiverse wide open with Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, some are interesting takes on fan-favorite characters that fans cannot wait to see on screen. However, there is one odd Marvel character that Kevin Feige might want to bring into the MCU, if for nothing else than to add to the absurdity of the multiverse.

Spider-Man has been one of the flagship characters of the Marvel Universe in every iteration of its source material. Be it his rogue’s gallery or his numerous allies, Spider-Man has always intrigued the fandom enough for them to be excited about new and bold takes on his mythos across the multiverse. However, there is one character who might have taken this multiverse deal a little too far, and that would be Black Cat’s daughter… from Miles Morales.

Kitty-Kat might make a great character in the MCU if done right

Miles Morales and Black Cat are a really odd couple, given that there is little that connects the characters, except Peter Parker. While this couple might have a place in the Multiverse that the MCU is trying to cook up, Kitty-Kat is still an odd character in the story that Marvel is trying to tell.

The character comes courtesy of a dystopian future that Spider-Man finds himself in, which could be introduced in the MCU. However, introducing Kitty-Kat before Miles Morales has had time to settle into the MCU might be disastrous for all the characters involved. Miles Morales needs to be a part of the MCU, enough for him to settle in, before a character like Kitty-Kat is introduced into the Marvel Cineamtic Universe, even in a multiverse setting.

Could Miles Morales make an appearance in Spider-Man 4?

There has been a lot of chatter about how Miles Morales might make his way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Spider-Man doesn’t seem in the position to currently mentor a young hero, and could at least take two more films, the Avengers ones excluded, to be ready to take on a protege.

Spider-Man is yet to meet a slew of characters that are important for his mythos, as characters or even approximations of Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborne, and Eddie Brock seem to be absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Skipping these characters to jump straight to Miles Morales might not sit well with fans either.

Tom Holland has come out and said that there is some real progress being made with the Spider-Man 4 script, but so far there is no indication that Miles Morales might be making his way into the MCU. Currently, the focus seems to be on exploring Spider-Man’s life as a street-level vigilante, while also keeping some space for the Venom saga to exist in the MCU.
