Everyone can see the bear – but you have 20/20 vision & a high IQ if you can spot the 7 other animals in 12 seconds

IF you think you’re an expert puzzle solver then try and spot the seven hidden animals blended in among the huge polar bear.

This family friendly optical illusion is a real challenge as only those with a high IQ and eyes like an eagle stand a chance of spotting the whole gang within 12 seconds.

Can you spot all the animals in this image?[/caption]

The picture shows a giant red polar bear looking off into the distance with several other animals gleefully hanging out inside his fur.

Some are obvious due to their big size or unrecognisable features such as antlers and ears.

Whereas others are almost impossible to spot through their expert camouflage and tiny stature.

Spotting different types of animals such as a dog or a cat can be one of the toughest tasks in optical illusions as they’re never quite where you expect.

This illusion is made especially difficult as the scene is so busy with so many creatures hidden.

Another clever ploy to throw off those seasoned puzzlers is the use of colours.

The animals are all a mixture of blue and red meaning they are very different to what our brains are expecting to see.

This makes spotting them all incredibly hard as people easily skip over certain portions of the image.

Many people will be able to uncover a couple of the animals within seconds with some being obvious.

After six seconds those expert boffins should be well on their way to discovering all seven hidden animals.

But with less than half of the time remaining, finding the final few could be an incredibly hard task.

Luckily these puzzles are super fun to try out with friends and can be a great conversation starter.

In this particular piece, people with a high visual IQ should be able to spot all the animals within the 12 seconds and leave themselves enough time to enjoy the rest of the image.

But even those that find just four or five can still be proud of themselves as the optical illusion is one of our toughest yet.

This clever brainteaser was shared online by optical illusion legends Times Now.

If you still can’t quite spot the whole animal gang then here’s a rundown of all the species to look for before we reveal the answer.

The polar bear has been joined by a donkey and a reindeer as well as a turkey and a squirrel.

The final ones are a partridge, turtledove and a robin but they are super tough to find as they are all birds perched in peculiar spots.

How can optical illusions and brainteasers help me?

Engaging in activities like solving optical illusions and brainteasers can have many cognitive benefits as it can stimulate various brain regions.

Some benefits include:

  • Cognitive stimulation: Engaging in these activities challenges the brain, promoting mental agility and flexibility.
  • Problem-solving skills: Regular practice enhances analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Memory improvement: These challenges often require memory recall and can contribute to better memory function.
  • Creativity: They encourage thinking outside the box, fostering creativity and innovative thought processes.
  • Focus and attention: Working on optical illusions and brainteasers requires concentration, contributing to improved focus.
  • Stress relief: The enjoyable nature of these puzzles can act as a form of relaxation and stress relief.

As you scroll, why not try other optical illusions?

Have a go at these brainteasers to test your ability to spot things at speed.

Try figuring out what’s wrong with this image of smiling women as you count their legs in 11 seconds.

Or you might want to prove you have a 20/20 vision as you search for a strawberry in this carnival scene.

Lastly, puzzle fanatics have been left scratching their heads trying to find the lost feather in just 12 seconds.

Keep your brain engaged and have a go at our three other illusions below.

Inside Kate Middleton’s breathtaking £7.5m tiara collection & why Meghan Markle was ‘denied’ first choice for wedding

BEING a member of the royal family has some very luxurious perks, including having access to some of the nation’s most impressive jewels.

Princess Kate has had the opportunity to wear some very impressive tiaras during her time in the royal spotlight.

Being a princess has its perks – including getting to wear tiaras[/caption]

However, it may surprise some royal fans to learn that she doesn’t own her tiaras.

Jewellery expert Leroy Dawkins told Fabulous: “When it comes to tiaras Princess Catherine has a wide choice available for her to choose from.

“Although she does not own any tiaras herself she gets to loan some of the most spectacular tiaras in the world which previously belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II and now belong to her father-in-law King Charles.

“Some may ask has she or will she ever wear the Spencer Tiara?

“The answers to this question is probably no as the Spencer tiara is normally only worn by descendants of the family.”

In Prince Harry’s Spare memoir, he described how the late Queen and her royal dresser, Angela Kelly, presented five tiaras to Meghan Markle to choose from for her wedding day.

Harry claimed one “stood out from the others” and “looked like it was made for Meg,” but she wasn’t able to wear it.

The Duke of Sussex claimed Angela told him the tiara could not leave the palace without “an ordinance and police escort”, with Harry saying it seemed “a little exaggerated” but they agreed as “time was running out.”

Harry said: “It was obvious they were putting up obstacles, but why? It didn’t occur to us what motives they might have.”

Typically tiaras are worn by women for official occasions such as diplomatic receptions, state banquets, white tie walls and the state opening of Parliament so it is possible we could see Meghan wear a tiara again.

Here are the tiaras we’ve seen Kate wearing over the years…

The Cartier Halo Tiara

Estimated worth: £800,000 to £1million

Millions watched around the globe as Prince William tied the knot with university sweetheart Kate in 2011.

For the historic event, Kate chose the glittering Cartier Halo Tiara, which has over 1,000 diamonds – 739 brilliant-cut diamonds and 149 baguette.

The Cartier Halo tiara was first commissioned by George VI in 1936, three weeks before he ascended the throne, who gave it to Queen Mary.

It was then gifted to Queen Elizabeth II on her 18th birthday and inherited by Princess Anne, who has worn it several times in its history.

The Lover’s Knot Tiara

Estimated worth: £2million

The Lover’s Knot – sometimes referred to as the Cambridge Lover’s Knot — was a favourite of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

It was made in 1913 for Queen Mary and gifted to Diana by the Queen on her wedding day to Prince Charles in 1981.

Princess Kate has also sported the tiara from time to time even wearing it to Buckingham Palace for a state banquet in 2015 – which had been the first public sighting of the tiara since Diana and Prince Charles’ separation

The tiara is made up of diamonds and hanging pearls set in silver and gold and, according to Insider, it was reportedly so heavy it used to give Princess Diana headaches.

One of the most recent times we’ve seen the tiara was in 2023 when Kate wore it to the Diplomatic Reception, alongside a pink Jenny Packham dress.

The Lotus Flower Tiara

Estimated worth: £4million

The tiara could be one of Kate’s most expensive tiaras[/caption]

This beautiful headpiece has been spotted a number of times in recent years with Princess Kate often wearing it at various royal engagements.

Like with many of the royal tiaras, this one was originally a pearl and diamond necklace, but was made into the Lotus Flower tiara in 1923 by request of the Queen Mother.

She had been given the necklace by her husband, King George VI, in 1923 as a wedding gift.

Princess Margaret inherited the tiara from her mother in 1959, just before she married Antony Armstrong-Jones and and regularly wore it with a beehive in the 60s.

She also loaned it to her daughter-in-law, Serena Stanhope, for her wedding to Margaret’s son, Viscount Linle in 1993.

However, we first saw Kate wearing it at the annual Diplomatic reception in 2013.

She also opted for it at the China State banquet in 2015, and more recently at the 2022 Diplomatic reception at Buckingham Palace.

The Strathmore Rose Tiara

Estimated worth: £500,000

One of the other spectacular headpieces we’ve seen Kate wear is the Strathmore Rose Tiara.

The stylish royal debuted the tiara at the South Korea state banquet in 2023, and wore it with an ivory Jenny Packham gown with caped shoulders.

The late Queen Mother was given the tiara as a wedding gift from her father, Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, in 1923.

Upon her death, it was passed down to the late Queen, but wasn’t worn in public for decades, until Kate’s spellbinding appearance.

MAFS star shares agonising health battle after being branded a ‘horrible boy’ – as he explains controversial moment

MARRIED at First Sight star Nathan Campbell’s behaviour has certainly got viewers talking, not least calling his mum-in-law’s cooking ‘awful’.

But the 24-year-old has long been misunderstood and has spoken of being called a “horrible, horrible boy” by a teacher.

The groom tied the knot with a stranger, Lacey Martin, 27[/caption]

Four weeks ago, the show’s youngest groom tied the knot with his new bride and complete stranger, Lacey Martin, 27.

After an awkward encounter in which he mistook Lacey’s sister as the bride, Nathan caused further bewilderment at the couple’s honeymoon in The Gambia.

Lacey was left unimpressed when, after talking about a car accident she had when she was younger in which she lost two close friends, Nathan simply nodded and replied: ‘Cool’.

The ‘blundering’ scene left some fans fuming, mistakenly thinking he didn’t care.

But for Nathan, an engineer who lives in Frome, Somerset, the presumption he ‘doesn’t care’ is one he has carried through his life due to his condition ADHD.

While the condition is stereotypically known for causing hyperactivity, other symptoms that affect daily life include difficulty focusing and listening, as well as being organised and regulating emotions.

Before he was diagnosed at the age of 11, he reveals he’d regularly be sent to detention for not paying attention – leading to one teacher cruelly branding him a ‘horrible little boy’.

“Before my diagnosis, I struggled to write things down and I often daydreamed at school,” he recalls in an exclusive interview with Sun Health.

“Teachers thought I wasn’t paying any attention and I would often be given detention.

“I remember on one occasion the teacher yelling at me I was a ‘horrible boy’ because I had been looking out of the window instead of writing things down.”

But the likeable groom says while an official diagnosis has given him greater clarity as to why he sometimes doesn’t read the room right or may come across as unaware, the last thing he’d ever want to do is make a woman he was dating upset.

On his ‘blundering’ during the honeymoon scene, he explains: “I don’t like to use ADHD as an excuse. I didn’t mean it in a malicious way at all.

“Yes my ADHD may have been a cause during the scene too, but that’s still no excuse. I am not perfect, I do come with my quirks and sometimes I don’t read the room right.

“My filter is a bit different and my social cues can be a little bit off. But that doesn’t mean I don’t care. I am incredibly protective of everyone close to me and very loyal.”

Nathan also caused a stir over the dinner table when Lacey’s mum-in-law burst into tears when the groom made a joke about her cooking.

Vegetarian Nathan “bantered” that the chicken fajitas she had whipped up for them “looked like they were from the bottom of the bin” – which didn’t go down well.

What is ADHD?

ADHD is a behavioural condition defined by inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.

It affects around 2.6 million people in the UK – including 708 million children.

Symptoms typically appear at an early age and become more noticeable as a child grows

Most cases are diagnosed between six and 12 years old. Adults can also suffer, but there is less research into this.

ADHD’s exact cause is unclear but is thought to involve genetic mutations that affect a person’s brain function and structure.

Premature babies and those with epilepsy or brain damage are more at risk.

ADHD is also linked to anxiety, depression, insomnia, Tourtette’s and epilepsy.

There is no cure.

A combination of medication and therapy is usually recommended to relieve symptoms and make day-to-day life easier.

It came just after Lacey had been singing Nathan’s praises, telling her family: “Obviously dating someone with ADHD is different but it’s helped me to be more patient and how he feels about me he shows me in actions.

“He makes me a cup of tea, he makes me breakfast in bed when I was feeling unwell and he was asking if I wanted anything.”

My ADHD is like my superpower

Nathan Campbell

Whilst he can’t divulge what happens on MAFS and whether he remains married to Lacey, Nathan says she was nothing but brilliant when he told her about his ADHD shortly after their wedding ceremony.

“Lacey was really great and very cool about it all,” he adds.

Nathan says he has never shied away from his ADHD on dates[/caption]

“It was important to let her know I do have ADHD and that if she wanted us to get deep in our conversation to be direct.”

He says he has never once felt sorry for himself that he does have ADHD.

After leaving school at the age of 17 with few academic qualifications, Nathan went to college to study plastering.

It was there he discovered he could easily pick up many different skills.

“My ADHD is like my superpower,” he says. “I realised I could pick up trades very quickly.”

Moving across to engineering, he then quickly rose up the ranks and by the age of 23, he was earning £42k.

“I excelled rapidly,” he adds. “I am really proud and I have achieved some great things with my ADHD. I haven’t let it hold me back in life!”

Why fit in when you were born to stand out?

Nathan Campbell

Nathan goes on to explain that as he has got older, he has a much deeper understanding of himself and rather than hindering him on a day-to-day basis, he thinks it helps him.

He adds: “Now that I’m older, I have a much deeper understanding of myself than when I was younger, which makes navigating through life with ADHD so much easier.

“I always find myself discovering new things about myself along the way.

“One way my ADHD can be beneficial in day-to-day life is through heightened creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.

“With my ADHD I can often come up with innovative solutions to problems.

“I can excel in high-energy environments where quick thinking, learning and spontaneity are valued, like in fast-paced jobs or social situations.

“With my ADHD, I have ability to hyper-focus on tasks I’m passionate about which can also lead to a drastic improvement in productivity when working on things I like to do.”

He stresses that never once does he feel the need to explain himself.

“I never really feel the need to over-explain how my brain works,” says Nathan.

“Some people just don’t get it, and that’s fine with me. I’m quite self-aware and understand how my mind functions, so as long as I communicate my thoughts to those I’m close to, that’s what matters most to me.”

‘I have always embraced who I am’

Now the secret he is appearing on MAFS is out in the open, he says he hopes that by talking about his ADHD, will help others.

He reveals that despite some negative comments, he has received hundreds more messages praising him for having the courage to go on a high-profile programme with ADHD.

“Since the first episode aired, I have had hundreds of people with ADHD who have reached out,” he adds.

“It’s been so moving. They told me it was cool to have an accurate representation of someone who is neurodivergent and they admired me for putting myself on the show. That means a lot to me.”

He also stresses he refuses to read any negative comments by trolls about his behaviour on the show.

“I don’t read the comments,” he admits. “Haters are going to hate – it comes with the territory. But I take everything with a pinch of salt.

“I am glad what was shown was shown as it creates a lot of conversation.

“It never worried me who the experts would put me with as I have always embraced who I am. I give everyone my 100 per cent.

‘Why fit in when you are born to stand out?’ Nathan says[/caption]

“When I decided to appear on the programme, I was single and I thought ‘why not?’ It’s not every day you get the chance to meet someone who is scientifically matched to you.”

‘Perfect is boring’

Nathan – who prior to MAFS had a five-year relationship with a woman – says he has never shied away from his ADHD on dates either.

He explains: “I am very old-fashioned when it comes to dating.

“My previous girlfriend was also totally cool about it all and on dates after we broke up, I’d always tell them about my quirks.

“Some women told me, ‘Oh wow I have always wanted to date someone with ADHD’ when I talked about myself.

“I didn’t mind though as I do think I am fun to date! Yes I may not be able to talk in-depth, but I always like having fun and keeping busy.”

Happy to be on MAFS and looking forward to seeing what the future holds, Nathan hopes viewers who are neurodivergent watching the programme will be inspired not to hide their true selves.

“Perfect is boring,” declares Nathan. “Why fit in when you are born to stand out?”

Married at First Sight airs on E4 Monday to Thursday at 9pm.

Watch car plough into oncoming traffic & FLIP on ‘UK’s most dangerous junction’ which saw 13 crashes in just 2 months

HEART-PUMPING CCTV footage shows a spate of car crashes at “Britain’s most dangerous junction” which has seen THIRTEEN accidents in six weeks.

The junction along the A521 in Cheadle, Staffordshire has seen cars flip in the air, collide with lorries and chalk up nearly £200,000 worth of damage over the last two months.

The spate of collisions has shaken locals[/caption]

Misleading give way signs and faded road markings are said to be to blame for the staggering number of crashes as cars regularly fail to slow down in time.

Ring doorbell footage from nearby councillor Gary Bentley’s home captured the dramatic scenes and he believes there’s been roughly 13 crashes since August alone.

One video shows a car failing to spot the give way road markings and speeding over the lines before being smashed into by a lorry.

Another clip shows a SUV being clipped by a VW Golf before being sent rolling across the road onto the pavement.

The most recent accident happened on October 17 when a car smahed into a van at the junction which connects to Draycott Cross Road.

Homeowners fear someone will be killed at the accident blackspot and is urging the council to take action.

Nearby, The Huntsman pub landlord Conor Bernard Devine has been keeping a tally for the number of days between each smash which currently sits at four.

“You hear a big bang, you come running out and there’s a car on its roof again,” Conor, 55, revealed.

“It’s a question of time before someone gets killed out there.

“We’re on a four day streak at the moment. We’ve been here 15 years, it’s always been bad for the accidents.

“For whatever reason it’s getting worse. I don’t know if it’s the road markings or not.

“Three have been very serious then there’s been a couple of little fender benders.

“There’s also an Aldi supermarket being built which is going to bring more traffic to the town.”

Independent councillor Gary Bentley, of High Peak Borough Council, own as house overlooking the junction and has called for traffic lights to be installed.

Gary, whose dad also lives just a few doors down, said: “It’s a busy junction. We think it could be Britain’s most dangerous – it has been in the last few weeks.

“To add insult to injury, on the other side of the pub, we’ve just passed an Aldi supermarket.

“We were all concerned about the highway issues and people out of town coming down, most of the crashes are from people outside the area.

“A couple of weeks ago a car came over and didn’t know he had to stop. There were two. One was hit by a car and another by a lorry. We put it down to the faint lines.

“The council painted one line. But the crash last week was the other side, where they didn’t paint. They only painted one side of the road. Who does that?

You hear a big bang, you come running out and there’s a car on its roof again

Conor, 55Local

“One side is beautifully painted, the other side you can’t see. I wanted the signs changing from give way to stop, that’s the minimum I want.

“We ideally want a set of traffic lights. We had another set of crossroads that caused a death, but 18 months ago they’ve got traffic lights. That’s what I’m pushing for.

“It happens all the time. We don’t just have these big ones, we have little crashes too.

“We reckon we’ve had about 13 crashes since August. My dad is 84 and he wanders up that road all day long. That’s what my concern is.

“It’s been going on for years, but it seems to have gotten worse this year. I can only put it down to the maintenance of the road, the potholes too.

“There were no white lines at the end. There’s a give way sign high up.

“This is my corner, I love my corner. We all get on, we all help each other. The only thing letting it down is the crossroads.”

His dad Alan Bentley, who has lived in the area for 60 years, added: “It isn’t safe. I’d like a big roundabout, a massive roundabout to slow them down, or traffic lights.”

Mark Deaville, cabinet member for strategic highways at Staffordshire County Council, said the crashes were being investigated.

He said: “Once we have all the information, we will look to see if any action is required at the location.

“Keeping our roads safe remains our priority and we do listen to residents and work with local communities if they have concerns about road safety in their area.”

The Sun Online has reached out to Staffordshire County Council for comment.

Lidia Thorpe: Australian senator who heckled King Charles

AUSTRALIAN senator Lidia Thorpe made headlines around following her outburst during the Royal tour.

In October 2024, she was seen being hauled off my security after she heckled King Charles during his address in Australia’s parliament.

The politician had to be restrained after she heckled King Charles[/caption]

Born in 1973, Lidia Thorpe is an Australian independent politician.

Her grandmother was Alma Thorpe, the founder of Victoria’s Aboriginal Health service.

Lidia has been a senator for Victoria since 2020, and is the first Aboriginal senator from that state.

Lidia’s political career started when she was elected as Victoria’s MP in 2017.

She has received a lot of media attention for her support of the Blak Sovereign Movement and her criticism of the legitimacy of Australian political institutions – which she views as stemming from colonialism.

Heckling King Charles

On October 21, 2024, Lidia hit the headlines when she heckled King Charles during his tour of Australia.

It came after he gave a landmark speech in Australia’s parliament.

As Charles was given a standing ovation for his address, Lidia emerged in the chamber and called out: “You are not our King” and “You destroyed our land”.

As security prevented her from getting near the King she called out to him: “This is not your land, you are not our King.”

The monarch brushed off the awkward encounter as Lidia was escorted out of the building.

Following her outburst, Aunty Violet Sheridan, a Senior Ngunnawal Elder, spoke of her fury at Lidia’s actions, describing it as “disrespectful and rude”.

She was sitting on the stage with the King and Queen when Lidia started to heckle them.

Aunty Violet said: “It was fabulous right up until that incident. I thought she was disrespectful and out of line. She does not speak for me or my family.

“I was on the stage sitting just beyond the Prime Minister and it absolutely frightened the life out of me. I didn’t expect it and I am sure no-one else was expecting it.

Lidia’s protest against King Charles has been slammed by Aunty Violet Sheridan[/caption]

“We are all so disappointed by it. To have that in the Great Hall? Disgusting. I am so upset about her. He has waited so long to be King, he has rehearsed for it all his life. He is our King, our sovereign and he has got cancer.

“I said to my husband ‘I feel so sad for him’. I was sitting tight by him. I am a very spiritual person and I feel really comfortable about him. I just felt it.

“He is a good man. He thanked me for my welcome. This is sad. He has got cancer and that idiot, I am sorry to say that word, went and did that. I felt so sad that he has travelled all this way.

“I don’t want my grandchildren when Prince George becomes King and comes here and that happens to him. I hope we fix this up before our next generation comes through.

“Hopefully people see it for what it is. A one-off idiot.”

Banned from strip club

This isn’t the first time Lidia has hit the spotlight for protesting.

Inn 2023, she banned for life from a Melbourne strip club for allegedly shouting profanities at a group of men.

She was filmed outside Maxine’s Gentleman’s Club, telling one he is a “marked” man.

Lidia later said in a statement that the men “singled her out” and “provoked her”.

Staff at the club claimed Lidia approached a number of men and told them they had “stolen her land”.

Maxine’s general manager, David Ross, later wrote to the senator’s office to issue a life ban from the premises.

He said at the time: “We can’t have that sort of thing here, because we do pride ourselves on being harmonious melting pot of the local community.”

Moment Hamas leader Sinwar’s smirking wife totes ‘£25k Hermes handbag’ as she scuttles into hiding before Oct 7 massacre

THIS is the moment Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar’s wife is spotted toting what appears to be a lavish £25,000 Hermes bag as she is going into hiding through a tunnel.

The footage, released by the IDF, shows the terror boss and his wife Abu Zamar calmly heading to a secret underground lair before the bloody October 7 massacre.

The underground bunker where Sinwar spent months evading the IDF

Sinwar, who was killed by a long-range gunshot to the head last week, can be seen moving back and forth carrying essential supplies to his lair – while his soldiers carried out the deadly attack.

The three-minute video shows the terrorist ferrying large packs of water bottles, comfy pillows, and other supplies inside a narrow concrete tunnel.

The clip shows Sinwar helping his two young sons through the tunnel as he is followed by his smiling wife who was clutching the luxury bag – a day before the tragedy.

Israel shared the pictures on X writing: “Sinwar’s wife caught in this photo sneaking to the tunnels the night before October 7th – get this – clutching a $32,000 Hermes Birkin bag!

“While Gazans endured hardship under Hamas, Sinwar and his family were shamelessly living in luxury, indulging while sending others to die.”

idf spokesperson Daniel Hagari added: “Hours before the massacre, Sinwar cared only about himself and his family while he sent terrorists for the murderous attack on Israeli children, women and men.

“This was a luxury that the people of Gaza did not have as Sinwar always prioritised himself, his money and Hamas terrorists over the people of Gaza.”

Another set of pictures released by the IDF reveals the underground lair where Sinwar spent months.

The mastermind of the October 7 massacre had his bunker stocked with his favourite Vimto soft drink, plenty of food – including United Nations relief agency UNRWA parcels intended to feed starving civilian families.

The underground complex featured modern toilets, shower suites and a large TV while a safe stacked with millions of pounds worth of Israeli shekels and US Dollars was also found.

Hagari said that when Sinwar’s hideout in Khan Younis was uncovered, it was filled with “supplies meant for a long stay”, which included “a lot of money, food, beds, documents, a shower and a kitchen”.

TERROR CHIEF’S DEATH

The video was released just days after Sinwar’s death by Israeli troops in Rafah last week in a devastating blow for the terror group.

Drone camera pictures released by the IDF, showed Sinwar in a bombed-out building.

He can be seen slumped in a dirty armchair with a badly injured hand.

Shocking footage shows evil Sinwar desperately trying to fight off a drone with a stick moments before he died.

Israeli troops didn’t realise they had taken out Sinwar until after he was killed.

IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari said on Thursday: “We fired on the building and went in to search.

“We found him [Sinwar] with a flak jacket and a gun and NIS 40,000.

“He was fleeing from house to house, we identified him as a terrorist, we closed in professionally and eliminated him.”

Hagari said Sinwar was likely moving around in tunnels around southern Gaza for some time before he died.

Inside the twisted life of Yahya Sinwar

By Nick Parker, Foreign Editor

HIS life was saved twice by Israel – but the monster dubbed “The Hamas Bin Laden” repaid his sworn enemy by masterminding the October 7 horror.

Yahya Sinwar, 61, spent 22 years in an Israeli prison for terrorist murder and kidnap plots and spent every second honing his burning hatred for his captors.

His astonishing rise to the top of the Hamas terror tree came despite being sentenced to four life sentences in 1989 for planning the abduction and killing of two Israeli soldiers and the murder of four Palestinians he suspected of working with Israel.

The bearded beast’s life was first saved when he was cured of cancer by an operation in a prison.

Then in 2011 he was freed, among 1,026 others, in a prisoner exchange for a single Israeli soldier in a deal that has been damned by his thousands of victims ever since.

Sinwar taught himself Hebrew and became fluent during his multiple stints as a caged man.

He began reading and studying every Israeli newspaper to probe the weak spots in his enemy’s armour.

The terror master’s deep knowledge of what makes Israelis tick led him to realise the power of the hostage-taking tactic now traumatising the strife-torn Jewish nation.

Yet despite his blood lust and bravado, the Hamas commander “cried like a baby” when he learned he had cancer, his jailer Lieutenant Betty Lahat has revealed.

The terrorist was probably trying “to escape to the north, to safer areas”, when the army closed in, he explained.

Gruesome images shared online appeared to show Sinwar’s corpse with a huge head and leg wound buried in rubble at the strike area.

The IDF confirmed it was Sinwar after DNA and dental tests on his remains.

An autopsy findings reveal Sinwar was likely killed by a long-range gunshot wound to the head.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and top army officials repeatedly vowed to take out Sinwar after he orchestrated last year’s atrocity on October 7.

Chris Hoy & wife Sarra didn’t tell kids about her incurable MS after dad’s terminal cancer as family face double tragedy

CHRIS Hoy and his brave wife Sarra have decided not to tell their kids about her incurable MS as the family face a double tragedy.

The strong couple already had to break it to youngsters Callum and Chloe, 10 and seven, that their hero dad had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Six-time Olympic gold medallist Hoy, 48, described the dinner conversation at the start of the year as the “hardest thing I’ve ever done“.

And in an attempt to shield their children, Hoy and Sarra are keeping her health battles to themselves.

Sarra is undergoing low risk, less effective treatments for her condition instead of more potentially effective, but riskier, new treatments, it is reported.

Within the space of three months, the Hoy family were dealt two shocking blows.

In September 2023, a doctor delivered the awful news to Hoy that he had Stage 4 cancer.

What started out as a tumour in his shoulder, the primary cancer was located in his prostate.

It had then unfortunately spread to his bones, pelvis, hip, spine, shoulder and rib.

Medics have given Hoy two to four years to live.

The 40-year-old mum-of-two was then diagnosed with a “very reactive and aggressive” type of MS just before Christmas that same year.

Sarra’s condition was spotted when she went for a scan after experiencing a tingling sensation in her face and tongue.

Now, some days are worse than others – with Sarra struggling to fit the key in the door at times.

Hoy recalled telling his children that no-one lives for ever but he hopes to “be here for many, many more years”.

And recording the audio version of his memoir, ‘All that Matters: My Toughest Race Yet’, was even more traumatic, he told BBC.

He said: “The last chapter is basically where I’m writing to the kids. You know my message to them. You know, my final message to them.

“[You’re] reading the words out loud, you have to connect emotionally.

“You’ve got to actually read in a way that means something. But the risk is getting too close to it – because you’re suddenly thinking, these are the words that my kids will listen to when I’m gone.

“And that is, without doubt, the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”

Hoy began chemotherapy in November, wearing an extremely painful cold cap to keep his hair.

The sportsman suffered a violent allergic reaction in gruelling chemo sessions – but only missed five days of training on a bike.

He took to Instagram on Sunday to reassure fans he is still “feeling fit, strong and positive” despite the diagnosis.

Hoy shared a snap of himself in Copenhagen for the World track cycling championships and said it was “great to be out”.

“Some truly incredible performances; world records and a new generation of future stars showing us what they can do,” he wrote.

“You may see in the news this weekend some articles about my health, so I just wanted to reassure you all that I’m feeling fit, strong and positive, and overwhelmed by all the love and support shown to my family and me. Onwards!”

Well-wishes for the BBC pundit have poured in since his health announcement.

Sir Mark Cavendish, who holds the record for most stages won in the Tour de France, hailed Sir Chris as a “hero of a human being”.

Amy Joy Williams, MBE, the British former skeleton racer and Olympic gold medallist, added: “A pure superhuman who everyone loves. x”

And, Paddy McGuinness shared: “Some man”, as Dame Kelly Holmes wrote: “Sending love to you Chris.”

While comedian Jack Whitehall penned: “Sending you all the love mate.”

What are the symptoms of prostate cancer?

Olympics 2024 gender row boxer Imane Khelif set to turn pro after winning gold in Paris

GOLD medal Olympian Imane Khelif is set to become a professional boxer.

Khelif, 25, won the top prize in the women’s welterweight boxing category in Paris in the summer.

However, what should have been a joyous run as she lifted Algeria’s first-ever gold medal in the event was tarnished by a gender row.

After Italy’s Angela Carini quit their tournament opener after 46 seconds, unsubstantiated claims she was born a male spread like wildfire on social media.

Names with huge followings including Elon Musk, JK Rowling and Donald Trump all piled into the conversation, with Khelif slamming subsequent attacks against her and her family as “cruel”.

This prompted her to file a lawsuit against Musk’s X platform for facilitating online harassment towards her.

But following her success at the Paris Games, Khelif is now taking the next step in her already record-breaking boxing career.

Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, she said: “I would like to hold a press conference today to share with you my success story with the media family and young women who watch me.

“There is a documentary being prepared about my success story and it will be shown on international platforms.

“I will soon enter the world of professional boxing, I have many offers.

“Currently, I have not made up my mind about where I will enter professional boxing.

“But very soon I will take this step, we as Algerians would like to see our level in the field of professionalism.”

A recent video of Khelif on Instagram showed her in training with the caption: “Before the spotlight, it’s all about the mindset. Focused, locked in, ready for gold.”

Earlier this month the WBO were forced to deny “obviously false” reports that they had banned Khelif and stripped her of her Paris medal for failing gender eligibility tests.

The WBO’s legal counsel Gustavo Olivieri said in a statement the body had “not tested, nor had it banned,” Khelif and had had no communication with her.

With Khelif still being an amateur, the WBO would have no jurisdiction or power to strip her medal.

A year prior to the Olympics, Khelif was disqualified from the Women’s World Championships for failing the International Boxing Association’s (IBA) gender eligibility rules.

But the Russian-led body was stripped of its governance by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) over integrity and governance issues.

The IBA’s tests result and credibility was also called into question.

IOC and Paris 2024 Boxing Unit statement in full

A look at the full statement issued by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Paris 2024 Boxing Unit...

Every person has the right to practise sport without discrimination.

All athletes participating in the boxing tournament of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 comply with the competition’s eligibility and entry regulations, as well as all applicable medical regulations set by the Paris 2024 Boxing Unit (PBU). As with previous Olympic boxing competitions, the gender and age of the athletes are based on their passport.

These rules also applied during the qualification period, including the boxing tournaments of the 2023 European Games, Asian Games, Pan American Games and Pacific Games, the ad hoc 2023 African qualifying tournament in Dakar (SEN) and two world qualifying tournaments held in Busto Arsizio (ITA) and Bangkok (THA) in 2024, which involved a total of 1,471 different boxers from 172 National Olympic Committees (NOCs), the Boxing Refugee Team and Individual Neutral Athletes, and featured over 2,000 qualification bouts.

The PBU used the Tokyo 2020 boxing rules as a baseline to develop its regulations for Paris 2024. This was to minimise the impact on athletes’ preparations and guarantee consistency between Olympic Games. These Tokyo 2020 rules were based on the post-Rio 2016 rules, which were in place before the suspension of the boxing International Federation by the IOC in 2019 and the subsequent withdrawal of its recognition in 2023.

We have seen in reports misleading information about two female athletes competing at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. The two athletes have been competing in international boxing competitions for many years in the women’s category, including the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, International Boxing Association (IBA) World Championships and IBA-sanctioned tournaments.

These two athletes were the victims of a sudden and arbitrary decision by the IBA. Towards the end of the IBA World Championships in 2023, they were suddenly disqualified without any due process.

According to the IBA minutes available on their website, this decision was initially taken solely by the IBA Secretary General and CEO. The IBA Board only ratified it afterwards and only subsequently requested that a procedure to follow in similar cases in the future be established and reflected in the IBA Regulations. The minutes also say that the IBA should “establish a clear procedure on gender testing”.

The current aggression against these two athletes is based entirely on this arbitrary decision, which was taken without any proper procedure – especially considering that these athletes had been competing in top-level competition for many years.

Such an approach is contrary to good governance.

Eligibility rules should not be changed during ongoing competition, and any rule change must follow appropriate processes and should be based on scientific evidence.

The IOC is committed to protecting the human rights of all athletes participating in the Olympic Games as per the Olympic Charter, the IOC Code of Ethics and the IOC Strategic Framework on Human Rights. The IOC is saddened by the abuse that the two athletes are currently receiving.

The IBA’s recognition was withdrawn by the IOC in 2023 following its suspension in 2019. The withdrawal of recognition was confirmed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). See the IOC’s statement following the ruling.

The IOC has made it clear that it needs National Boxing Federations to reach a consensus around a new International Federation in order for boxing to be included on the sports programme of the Olympic Games LA28.

‘How is this normal? It’s too much surgery’ as fans shame Kylie Jenner, an expert reveals why she looks ‘distorted’

KYLIE Jenner has come under the spotlight after being savagely body-shamed and accused by fans of looking ‘distorted’.

Since the reality star, 27, was pictured at the Schiaparelli Fashion Show as part of Paris Fashion Week, social media has been swamped with speculation about her appearance.

Kylie hasn’t confessed to getting any cosmetic procedures besides lip fillers and a boob job at the age of 19[/caption]

There was no denying the star brought a little femme fatale energy to France as she stepped out last month in a jaw-dropping black midi dress with a cinched waist and dramatic plunge neckline.

However, onlookers were left stunned by the mum-of-two’s tiny waist with the star accused of having ‘too much surgery’ and looking ‘off’.

The make-up mogul, who is estimated to be worth around £530 million, looked sleek in a bodycon dress which featured white crisscross straps.

She wore her dark hair down in Old Hollywood style waves and styled the dress with a pair of black heels and a chunky gold bracelet.

But on social media, TikTok in particular, people were gobsmacked by Kylie Jenner’s body shape and small waist, as one person wrote: “Hmmm? Something looks off.”

Another said: “I think rib removal”, whilst a third chimed in: “These women look so distorted to their natural selves.”

At the same time, someone else accused the Kardashian of having “too much surgery”, and a fifth questioned: “How is this normal? Women, do your bodies look like this? Are YALL nuts?”

Dr Nyla Raja, a Cosmetic Doctor and Medical Director of Dr Nyla Medispa, suggests that Kylie, who was previously accused of looking ‘old’, may have had work recently – although she has only ever confessed to having lip fillers and a boob job at the age of 19.

Dr Raja, who has worked on the likes of Mel B, Abbey Clancy and Helen Flanagan, claims the Khy founder may have gone under the knife to get her “cinched in looking waist.”

She tells Fabulous: “If she’s had some surgical intervention, it is likely she could have undertaken Vaser Liposuction, to permanently sculpt the abdominal area.”

In addition, Dr Nyla Raja recognised that Kylie may have also had some non-surgical treatments too.

Kylie Jenner is the youngest of Kris Jenner‘s children. She is best known for starring alongside her sisters on the Kardashians reality shows, while also being a model, socialite and the founder of multiple businesses: Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Skin, Kylie Baby, and Kylie Swim.

  • Who is Kylie Jenner dating?
  • Who are Kylie Jenner’s children?
  • What is Kylie Jenner’s height?
  • What is Kylie Jenner’s son’s name?

She reveals: “She may have undertaken some non-surgical treatments, such as CoolSculpting.

“CoolSculpting is a phenomenal treatment which permanently gets rid of fat.

“It works by using Cryolipolysis, where the cooling of the fat cells to minus 14 degrees will actually permanently destroy and crystallise the body fat.”

Dr Raja claims Kylie may have also had a course of Emsculpt.

“This uses technology to stimulate muscle mass, so will give her that really sculpted, chiselled appearance to her abdominal muscles,” she adds.

BOOB OP REGRETS

Whilst the businesswoman has long been accused of having a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), something she has never confirmed nor denied, Kylie recently reflected on her decision to have a breast augmentation in her teens.

She confirmed the long-held suspicions that she got implants in a revealing conversation with her bestie Stassie Karanikolaou.

Kylie, who is mother to Stormi, six, and Aire, two, said she’d gone under the knife shortly before she fell pregnant with her daughter Stormi Webster.

She explained: “You know I got my breasts done before Stormi, within six months of having Stormi, not thinking I would have a child when I was 20. They were still healing.”

But in hindsight, the 27-year-old admitted she wished she’d never had the surgery at all, saying: “I had beautiful breasts. Just gorgeous, perfect size.

“I just wish I never got them done to begin with.”

OnlyFans model, 25, who chucked McDonald’s milkshake over Nigel Farage admits assault

AN ONLYFANS model has pleaded guilty to spraying Nigel Farage with a Banana milkshake.

Victoria Thomas-Bowen, 25, admitted hurling the drink at the Reform leader during a General Election event in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, in June earlier this year.

She had originally denied assault by beating against Farage, 60, despite accepting she had thrown the cup.

But appearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning, she changed her plea to admit the assault and criminal damage to a bystander’s jacket.

Prosecutor Nishma Shah said: “She had seen posts online advertising Nigel Farage would be in Clacton-on-Sea… she didn’t agree with his political views.

“She brought a McDonald’s banana milkshake and didn’t know whether she would throw it or not.

“She was sat outside the Moon and Starfish pub and decided to do it as she ‘had the opportunity’.

“She threw the drink knowing it would go over him but didn’t intend for the cup to hit him.

“She acknowledged the suit would need cleaning. She said he could afford it.”

Ms Shah continued: “Mr Farage said he did not know what the liquid was but he thought it could have been a milkshake.

“He said the cup had ‘hit me directly in the face’. He said he was not injured in the assault though it had caused him concern.

“He said he had only been going about his job and his role involved as much public engagement as possible.”

Andrew Price, for Ms Thomas Bowen, said: “This case has brought a great degree of attention on her.

“It’s only on the day of trial that, having to think about (changing her plea), she has decided as she has.

“There have been a number of threats against this defendant… she wants to put it out of her mind.”

The model, who wore a green top and black trousers in the dock, showed no emotion as she changed her plea and became a convicted criminal.

The court heard she was arrested less than 15 minutes after throwing the shake at Farage, as “members of the public and the press” had followed her.

Deputy Chief Magistrate Tan Ikram said the probation service would compile a pre-sentence report within the next four weeks.

He said his eventual sentence would focus on “deterrent and punishment”.

Ms Thomas-Bowen was given unconditional bail until she is sentenced on December 16.

Judge Ikram said: “You’ve pleaded guilty to, in my view, two serious charges.

“This was an unprovoked attack on a man who is now a member of Parliament.

“As you’ve heard I am seeking a pre-sentence report and will consider all options.”
