Owner Mark Davis is keen to tap into his invaluable football knowledge.

The U.S. Sun has spoken to a source close to the former New England Patriots coaching legend.

They says the 72-year-old has been following recent events “very closely.”

Belichick is loving life away from the touchline after ending his 23-year glory charge in New England at the end of last season.

As revealed by The U.S. Sun, the six-time Super Bowl winner is more than happy doing some punditry work and dating 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson.

He has no interest in the vacant New York Jets job.

Still, the insider revealed that collaborating again with Brady for “a very solid project” in Sin City is appealing.

Belichick and Brady have remained in close contact.

The U.S. Sun understands they recently spoke about Vegas at a dinner.

“Tom told Bill to get ready to return soon,” said the source.

“He told him to prepare to move west to a hot city.

“Bill responded with a knowing wink and a smile.”

The Raiders are struggling this season, with a 2-5 record under current coach Antonio Pierce, who is in his first season.

Belichick won’t jump into a franchise mid-season, but a surprise return could be in the cards.

The Tom Brady domino effect

Tom Brady will take his seat in Fox’s top NFL announce team alongside Kevin Burkhardt.

And his arrival at the network has set off a domino effect with every other announcer moving down one spot.

That means Fox’s NFL coverage in 2024 will feature entirely new broadcast pairings.

Greg Olsen, who previously worked alongside Burkhardt, will now be part of the No. 2 announce team with Joe Davis.

The other Fox pairings for 2024 are:

  • Adam Amin-Mark Sanchez
  • Kenny Albert-Jon Vilma
  • Kevin Kugler-Daryl Johnston
  • Chris Myers-Mark Schlereth

“There have been talks about the possibility of working together again,” continued the close friend.

“Bill would be seriously considering working with Tom or helping him in any way, coaching mostly, to help him bring success to Las Vegas and the Raiders.”

Brady has been rumored to be interested in several teams recently.

However, his involvement is restricted because of his $375 million punditry deal with Fox.

He’s not allowed to enter other franchise facilities, watch practice, or attend production meetings.

But that’s not stopped him from working behind the scenes to try and bring Belichick to the party.

“Bill knows Tom did choose the Raiders for a reason,” said the source.

“Brady hates to lose, so he will do everything to bring the team to the top of the NFL.

“Bill is a winner, Tom is a winner, and they know how to win titles.”
