Dragon Ball DAIMA: True Fans Know Akira Toriyama Will Never Agree With Latest Revelation Twist about Namekians

With just 2 episodes in, Dragon Ball DAIMA has already become a fan-favorite series that showcases Akira Toriyama’s greatness for one last time. The show has gone back to its roots, where it showcases classic Dragon Ball action, where it does not rely only on flashy battles and broken Super Saiyan transformations that make the fans question the character’s power level.

Despite featuring only a couple of episodes, the show has featured some shocking revelations, where in the 2nd episode it was revealed how Namekians are descendants of evil beings. As a result, the community of the series is divided because the logic behind their origin sounds too bizarre.

Moreover, if Toriyama-Sensei were here, even he would not have agreed to the ridiculous point made in the show. However, fans are not silently watching the mess from afar, as they voiced their opinion on the belief when they commented on social media.

Dragon Ball DAIMA’s Ridiculous Revelation Would Have Made Akira Toriyama Rise From His Grave

For the most part, Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball series is the Shonen series, which showcases the relentless pursuit of training oneself to become the best version of oneself. However, it is much more than that, as it subtly jumps from genre to genre.

Naturally, the title has become immensely popular over the years, featuring several series including Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super, with Dragon Ball Z being the most popular of all. With the 2024 show making the 40th anniversary of the title much more special, it has showcased a logic around the Namekians that might be too ridiculous to believe.

In the 2nd episode, it was revealed how long before all the people with pointy ears were part of the Demon Realm—well, not all but most of them. This included Supreme Kai having a demon origin as well as our beloved Namekians. This revelation spread like wildfire in the community, and most of them would never agree with this idea.

This is because the Namekians are a race that is filled with rich and distinct lore, and limiting them to mere demonic origin would deeply undermine the story that Toriyama-Sensei would have in mind for the peaceful race.

Despite much not explored about the Namekians, they have not disappointed us in the past as they introduced us to characters like Demon King Piccolo, Piccolo, Nail, Dende, and many more.

Hence, fans have stood against the silly belief on social media as they strictly oppose the mediocre revelation.

Dragon Ball Fans Will Die Rather Than Agree to the Namekian Revelation in DAIMA

Even though the show is sitting comfortably with a rating of 8.6/10 on IMDb, where it promises to feature many old faces, including a villain from Dragon Ball GT. However, it does not mean that the fans will agree to everything featured in the show.

Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to see how DAIMA is going to progress with the series and how it will keep closing the gap with Dragon Ball GT.
