On October 18, Rosé dropped the first single, Apt., of her first full-length album, Rosie, in collaboration with pop star Bruno Mars. Rosé became a worldwide sensation as part of the K-pop girl group, Blackpink. She later impressed pop fans with her project R, which included singles like On the Ground and Gone.

Her new single is based on her favorite Korean drinking game, Apartment. She was conflicted about releasing a song based on a drinking game as she revealed to Vogue. However, she found out that her team became obsessed with it. When she got Mars on board for the song, she went crazy with the promotions of the song.

In her latest video on TikTok promoting the song, Rosé is seen talking about her song. When she pans the camera to the Treasure singer, he is seemingly drunk and passed out from the Apartment game. The video quickly went viral and was reposted to Instagram, where fans found it to be wildly funny. Some of the fan comments on the video read:

Their earlier photos have also indicated that the duo might have engaged in a game of Apartment. It might not just be the South Korean fans who will probably catch on to the trend of the drinking game after Rosé’s new song.

Sharing a picture of them together on October 17, Rosé wrote on Instagram that she taught Bruno Mars to play a Korean drinking game. Mars commented on the post sharing that they had so much fun. He further added that Rosé tried to kiss him during the game, which he found to be weird. Rosé playfully replied to that comment, “I’m gonna kill u. Take that back or I’m not releasing the song, Bruno.”

Mars shared another photo of their get-together on his social media, sharing that he was hanging on to his dear life after Rosé introduced him to the game. He once again shared that Rosé tried to kiss him and he asked her, “woah Rosie! what part of the game is this?”. She replied that she wasn’t “playing games with [him] anymore”, to which he replied, “Stop Rosie, I’m scared.”

All their comments were in fun, with English singer Ed Sheeran responding to Mars, “Is everything all right, mate?”. Rosé signed a solo contract with The Black Label earlier this year. She has also signed with Atlantic Records, paving the way for her international career.
