DOLLAR General’s brand pOpshelf has revealed its brand new store concept and is launching a loyalty program where shoppers can nab coupons for 20% off.
On October 19 at 10am, customers will be invited to pOpshelf’s customer appreciation event across all of its stores.

Here they will get access to 20% off coupons and complimentary product samples.
But pOpshelf warns that you have to be quick – these perks will only apply to the first 50 adult customers.

The discount shop is also launching a pOpshelf app, now available in the App store for iOS and Google Play for Android.
Customers can browse multiple seasonal décor ideas, discover crafts and more.
The app also allows customers to shop online before collecting their purchase at their nearby store.
The store has recently updated all stores to its newest format where customers will find a refreshed layout.
With the rejig, shoppers can still get their hands on branded cosmetics, DIY options, home décor, toys, books and more.
The affordable retailer, which generally offers products at $5 or less, is hoping to introduce an updated pOpshelf perk swith exclusive rewards by the end of the year.
Through the newly updated pOpshelf app, customers will receive 10 points for each dollar spent and receive a $5 reward for every 1,000 points accumulated.
Exclusive perks will also include 15% birthday rewards and double points days.
And to help customers earn additional points, pOpshelf is also providing 400 points when customers download the app, 400 points when customers create an account and 200 points when customers complete their profile.
The pOpshelf chain has a different focus to the typical Dollar Generals you’ll find across America.
They said: “Customers can expect a fun, joyful and guilt-free shopping experience as they browse a selection of on-trend seasonal and home decor.
“…health and beauty must-haves, home cleaning supplies, household and specialty items, arts and crafts, party planning and entertaining needs, toys and much more.”
The retailer first announced the concept in October 2020 and runs over 100 pOpshelfs across 10 states, and expansions are underway to bring the concept to even more American shoppers.
Currently, shoppers can find pOpshelfs in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
Each pOpshelf location stands at around 9,000 square feet and offers specialty products in more elite categories.
