The Jets fell to 2-4 this season after a 23-20 loss against their AFC East division rivals at MetLife Stadium.

Referees called 22 penalties in the game – 11 on each team.

And Rodgers didn’t hold back in his assessment of the officiating during his press conference.

“It seemed a little ridiculous,” the 40-year-old quarterback said.

“Some of them seemed really bad, including the roughing the passer on me.

“That’s not roughing the passer.

“We might as well play Sarcastaball if we’re going to call those things,” he said in reference to a South Park episode.

“I thought the one on Kinlaw was not roughing the passer, either.”

And Rodgers could be fined by the league for speaking his mind on the officiating.

The NFL bans players or coaches from publicly criticizing officials.

Last December, Cleveland Browns defensive star Myles Garrett was fined $25,000.

He slammed the officiating as ” a travesty” and was hit with a fine.

Rodgers threw for 294 yards and two touchdowns Monday night in the Jets’ first game since firing head coach Robert Saleh.

But a late interception with the Jets trailing 23-20 cost his team dear.

Greg Zuerlein also missed two field goals for New York as Buffalo emerged victories.

Josh Allen threw two touchdowns and ran in another to help his team improve to 4-2.

“Fighting through adversity, getting in at halftime, regrouping, saying let’s just control one play at a time,” Allen said.

“We didn’t score as many points as I’d like in the second half, but found a way.

“We understand the gravity of this type of game.

“Us being 4-2 with a 2 1/2-game lead with a head-to-head win, as opposed to being 3-3 and in second place.”
