Powerball warning to check numbers for unclaimed $560,000 prize up for grabs – and ticket was sold at a grocery store

LOTTERY officials are desperately searching for a recent six-figure prize winner.

The lucky Powerball player has yet to come forward after the October 16 drawing.

Numbers drawn on Wednesday include 4, 30, 39, 44, 60, and a red Powerball of 11.

While nobody won the jackpot, which is now up to $437 million for the upcoming drawing on October 19, a California resident managed a smaller win of $562,699, per Fox 11.

That means they must’ve matched all five white balls and narrowly missed out on the red Powerball to obtain that total.

California Lottery officials have urged players to double-check their tickets to see if they are the ones who managed to win the life-changing money.

The ticket was purchased at a Quality Market grocery store in Newcastle, about 30 miles outside of Sacramento.

The unidentified player must sign the back of their ticket first as soon as they know they won.

Afterward, they would then need to head in person to claim their prize at a Lottery District Office during business hours and file a claim form with the ticket.

If they don’t come forward within 180 days from the drawing date, which would be April 14, 2025, in this case, the funds are forfeited.

All $562,699 would instead be re-distributed to California Public Schools.

Assuming the player does come forward in time, they must make a crucial decision — how to receive the cash.

SPREADING IT OUT

There are always two options offered to winners.

They can obtain the funds up front in a one-time lump sum distribution or take it split over annuity payments.

Some lawyers advocate that players always take the annuity payment option because it offers a consistent annual income and acts as insurance for potential financial mistakes.

Even if a player were to spend all the cash they made one year, they would still have the same amount coming in the next year.

Lottery winnings: lump sum or annuity?

Players who win big on lottery tickets typically have a choice to make: lump sum or annuity?

The two payout methods can impact how much money you get from your prize.

Annuities pay out slowly in increments, often over 30 years.

Lump sums pay all at once but in a smaller amount, as taxes are withheld in one go. That means 24% of your prize goes to Uncle Sam right away. Many states tax winnings as well.

Annuities can provide winners time to set up the financial infrastructure required to take in a life-changing amount of money, but lump sums have the benefit of being taxed only once.

Inflation is also worth considering when making a choice, as payouts do not adjust with the value of a dollar. That means that you’ll likely be getting less valuable money towards the end of an annuity.

Each state and game pays out prizes differently, so it’s best to check with your state’s lottery to confirm payment policies. A financial advisor can also help you weigh the pros and cons of each option.

Experts have varying opinions on whether to take the lump sum or take the annuity.

TAKING IT ALL

The lump sum, however, allows for the freedom to take the money and invest it up front with, ideally, the guidance of a financial advisor.

Still, the lump sum option faces significant tax deductions.

The federal government always imposes a 24% tax on lottery winnings above $5,000.

California can determine its rates and is one of the few that doesn’t tax lottery winnings at all.

That means the $562,699 winner from October 16th would really only walk away with around $427,651 after a $135,047 deduction.

While it’s a decent chunk, that’s still a significant return on investment for the cost of the Powerball ticket.

Miami Heat star Tyler Herro abruptly stops during live TV interview after spotting wild incident in crowd

NBA star Tyler Herro was blown away during a postgame interview after a fight broke out in the stands.

The Miami Heat star couldn’t finish his answers while distracted by the unfolding brawl.

A group of fans brawled during an NBA preseason game[/caption]

Herro answered his questions while looking into the crowd, eventually apologizing for being distracted.

“Just continue to figure out what we can do to get ready for the season,” Herro said.

“Sorry I’m distracted by a fight up there. This is crazy.”

Herro had a huge smile on his face while he watched the fans go at it in the stands.

His interview seemed more concerned with the incident, saying she hoped “That breaks up here soon.”

Even while Herro walked away he still had his eyes locked on the fight.

Video of the brawl was posted on social media and it showed a brutal fight underway for about 30 seconds before security and police intervened.

The NBA isn’t even in the regular season yet, but fans are already riled up and ready to go to war for their teams.

Three men appeared to be caught up in this specific fight, with one woman trying to get in on the action.

Another fan could be seen trying to get between the fight and break it up, but they didn’t have any success until security made their way to the scene.

NBA fans got a good laugh out of the fight and Herro’s reaction, and shared their thoughts on social media.

“Fans in mid season form. We ride,” one fan said.

“During the preseason is crazy,” another fan said.

“Can’t ever say the fan base doesn’t have fight in it,” a third fan said.

“Heat preseason basketball x fighting in the stands – that’s some heat culture right there,” a fourth fan said.

What the new TV deal means for the NBA?

By The U.S. Sun's Assistant Sports Editor Damian Burchardt.

THE new TV rights deal is promising to be a humongous win for NBA players.

The league is set to more than double the revenue coming from its media partners, pocketing about $6.9 billion per year, which will inevitably lead to a huge salary cap spike in 2025-26.

That is going to send the value of player contracts skyrocketing.

Projected figures suggest we might see the first $100 million-per-year deal being signed soon.

Currently, Boston Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum is projected to earn the highest single-season salary in NBA history, collecting $71.5 million in 2029-30.

If TNT Sports successfully matches one of the offers to maintain its decades-long partnership with the league, hoops fans will be on the winning side too.

The network’s flagship, Inside the NBA, is a one-of-a-kind sports entertainment show, as evidenced by ESPN’s ongoing failure to come up with its own version of the program in recent years.

The NBA wouldn’t be the same without Kenny and Ernie trying to make sense of Shaq and Chuck’s never-ending bickering every Tuesday night.

“That would distract me too,” a fifth fan said.

There is no indication of what started the fight between the fans.

The Heat defeated the San Antonio Spurs 120-117 in the preseason game on Tuesday and will start the regular season at home on Wednesday.

The team is rolling out the same core as last year, with Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Herro as their big three.

Adebayo was a part of the Team USA gold medal basketball team at the Paris Olympics.

Kamala Harris says Yahya Sinwar had ‘American blood on hands’ as she breaks silence after Hamas boss killed by Israel

KAMALA Harris has issued a chilling warning to terrorists and showed Israeli support after the mastermind behind the horrific October 7 surprise attack was killed.

Harris reacted to Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar’s death while campaigning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Thursday as anti-Israel protestors swarmed the perimeter of the venue.

Speaking to reporters, Harris said Sinwar had “American blood on his hands” after seven US citizens were captured by Hamas on October 7.

“Justice has been served, and the United States, Israel, and the entire world are better off as a result,” the vice president said.

Sinwar was killed in an Israeli airstrike, and his death was confirmed by foreign minister Israel Katz who dubbed the killing a “great military and moral achievement.”

The Hamas leader was regarded as the mind behind the October 7, 2023, attack where Palestinian terrorists stormed Israel soil, killed 1,000 people, and kidnapped 250 more into Gaza.

The attack sparked a bloody war between the nations that led to the deaths of more than 42,000 Palestinians and over 2,300 Israelis.

“Hamas is decimated, and its leadership is eliminated,” Harris said.

“This moment gives us an opportunity to finally end the war in Gaza.”

Harris’s remark was out of the ordinary, as she spoke out before President Joe Biden addressed the public.

Moments after her message, however, Biden released a statement through the White House where he said, “no terrorists anywhere in the world can escape justice, no matter how long it takes.”

“Israel has had every right to eliminate the leadership and military structure of Hamas. Hamas is no longer capable of carrying out another October 7.”

Inside the twisted life of Yahya Sinwar

By Nick Parker, Foreign Editor

HIS life was saved twice by Israel – but the monster dubbed “The Hamas Bin Laden” repaid his sworn enemy by masterminding the October 7 horror.

Yahya Sinwar, 61, spent 22 years in an Israeli prison for terrorist murder and kidnap plots and spent every second honing his burning hatred for his captors.

His astonishing rise to the top of the Hamas terror tree came despite being sentenced to four life sentences in 1989 for planning the abduction and killing of two Israeli soldiers and the murder of four Palestinians he suspected of working with Israel.

The bearded beast’s life was first saved when he was cured of cancer by an operation in a prison.

Then in 2011 he was freed, among 1,026 others, in a prisoner exchange for a single Israeli soldier in a deal that has been damned by his thousands of victims ever since.

Sinwar taught himself Hebrew and became fluent during his multiple stints as a caged man.

He began reading and studying every Israeli newspaper to probe the weak spots in his enemy’s armour.

The terror master’s deep knowledge of what makes Israelis tick led him to realise the power of the hostage-taking tactic now traumatising the strife-torn Jewish nation.

Yet despite his blood lust and bravado, the Hamas commander “cried like a baby” when he learned he had cancer, his jailer Lieutenant Betty Lahat has revealed.

Biden said he would speak with Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to congratulate them and discuss the next steps.

Harris’ statement came as anti-Israel protesters swarmed the venue where she was speaking, holding Palestinian flags and wearing keffiyehs.

The presidential hopeful is spending three days in Milwaukee to establish support in the battleground state as the election quickly approaches in just three weeks.

President Biden's statement on Sinwar's death

Early this morning, Israeli authorities informed my national security team that a mission they conducted in Gaza likely killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. DNA tests have now confirmed that Sinwar is dead. This is a good day for Israel, for the United States, and for the world.

As the leader of the terrorist group Hamas, Sinwar was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Israelis, Palestinians, Americans, and citizens from over 30 countries. He was the mastermind of the October 7th massacres, rapes, and kidnappings. It was on his orders that Hamas terrorists invaded Israel to intentionally – and with unspeakable savagery – kill and massacre civilians, a Holocaust survivor, children in front of their parents, and parents in front of their children.

Over 1,200 people were killed on that day, the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust, including 46 Americans. More than 250 were taken hostage, with 101 still missing. That number includes seven Americans, four of whom are believed to still be alive and held by Hamas terrorists. Sinwar is the man most responsible for this, and for so much of what followed.

Shortly after the October 7 massacres, I directed Special Operations personnel and our intelligence professionals to work side-by-side with their Israeli counterparts to help locate and track Sinwar and other Hamas leaders hiding in Gaza.

With our intelligence help, the IDF relentlessly pursued Hamas’s leaders, flushing them out of their hiding places and forcing them onto the run. There has rarely been a military campaign like this, with Hamas leaders living and moving through hundreds of miles of tunnels, organized in multiple stories underground, determined to protect themselves with no care for the civilians suffering above ground. Today, however, proves once again that no terrorists anywhere in the world can escape justice, no matter how long it takes.

To my Israeli friends, this is no doubt a day of relief and reminiscence, similar to the scenes witnessed throughout the United States after President Obama ordered the raid to kill Osama Bin Laden in 2011.

Israel has had every right to eliminate the leadership and military structure of Hamas. Hamas is no longer capable of carrying out another October 7.

I will be speaking soon with Prime Minister Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders to congratulate them, to discuss the pathway for bringing the hostages home to their families, and for ending this war once and for all, which has caused so much devastation to innocent people.

There is now the opportunity for a “day after” in Gaza without Hamas in power, and for a political settlement that provides a better future for Israelis and Palestinians alike. Yahya Sinwar was an insurmountable obstacle to achieving all of those goals. That obstacle no longer exists. But much work remains before us.

American Pickers season premiere ratings drop to lowest in years after ex-host Frank Fritz’s tragic death

AMERICAN Pickers premiere ratings have dropped compared to the previous season after the death of fan-favorite Frank Fritz.

Season 26 of American Pickers premiered on October 9 with Mike and Robbie Wolfe, Jon “Jersey Jon” Szalay and Danielle Colby.

The show currently stars Mike and Robbie Wolfe, Jon ‘Jersey Jon’ Szalay and Danielle Colby[/caption]

The hour-long premiere episode saw Mike, 60, picking through Evel Knievel memorabilia, including a one-of-a-kind billboard from his Snake Canyon jump.

Meanwhile, Robbie and Jersey Jon checked out a late car buff’s collection.

But the episode failed to bring in many viewers, as The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal just 565,000 fans tuned in.

This is a massive drop from Season 25, which kicked off with a two-episode premiere in December 2023.

Classic Car Cemetery raked in 723,000 viewers and part two of the premiere, Hidden Cash Stash, had ratings drop to 676,000.

Episode three saw an increase to 880,000 viewers, and the numbers remained around the same throughout the rest of the month.

By the January 24 episode, ratings skyrocketed to 948,000 viewers.

The numbers dropped back down through most of February with the lowest rating on February 14 at 774,000 viewers and the highest on February 28 at 966,000.

The finale episode on March 27 brought in 832,000 viewers.

The last time ratings dropped to the 500,000s was in on August 30, 2023 with 554,000 fans watching.

HONORING FRANK?

On premiere day, the series paid tribute to Frank by playing episodes featuring the fan-favorite, who appeared on the show from 2010 to 2020.

But when episode one of Season 26 actually aired, fans were saddened to see there was no mention of him.

One fan wrote on Reddit, “There was no dedication to Frank on the season premiere last night.

“I feel like they should have at least made a title card at the end or something to honor him?”

“Total disrespect! This show was and is still dead to me,” commented another.

“I saw the title card on one of the Frank-centric reruns last night but not on the new episode premiere,” wrote a third.

BACK ON TV

In an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun, Frank’s close friend Jerry Gendreau revealed he would’ve returned to the show had it not been for his health issues.

“My analogy of the two, Mike and Frank were like Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin.

“Jerry Lewis, Frank, was just as important or maybe even more important for the show. It’s very hard to be the Jerry Lewis all of the time.

“I think Frank would’ve went back, but he had his health issues. And he did have some serious health issues. From 25 or 30 on he suffered from Crohn’s.”

Crohn’s is a bowel disease that causes inflammation in the digestive tract.

Jerry explained how Frank became a fan-favorite on the show because of his “spontaneity.”

“He was truly the comedian who popped out with some of the weirdest and dumbest things that you just go, ‘Wow,’” Jerry said.

“He made a mark on history.”

END OF THE ROAD?

The U.S. Sun previously reported the stars have signed on for three more seasons after the current one.

But despite the contract, The U.S. Sun previously reported that Mike and Robbie are nearing the end of the series.

“I don’t know how long the show will last,” a source previously told The U.S. Sun.

“I don’t know how long Mike and Robbie will want to do this,” the insider continued, “I think they would want to retire at some point.

“It’s a strain on your life [and] they’ve done this a long time,” Mike’s friend revealed.

“When they’re around it’s, ‘Ah, we’re on the road again. I ain’t got time to do this, I ain’t got time to do that,'” the source claimed.

“It’s a love-hate like with any job,” the insider shared.

“Some days you don’t wish you had that job and you could do whatever you wanted; some days you’re all excited about your job,” the pal concluded.

FRANK’S FINAL BOW

Frank’s final episode was in March 2020.

He left the show to recover from back surgery that left him with 185 stitches and two rods in his spine.

During his time off, Frank lost 65 pounds and was living a healthier lifestyle, including being sober from alcohol.

He had been open about wanting to return to the series after his hiatus but was officially let go in 2021, Mike confirmed.

“I will miss Frank, just like all of you, and I pray for the very best and all good things for him on the next part of his journey,” Mike said at the time.

The two had a falling out, as Frank exclusively told The U.S. Sun in a 2021 interview, “I haven’t talked to Mike in two years. He knew my back was messed up, but he didn’t call me up and ask how I was doing. That’s just how it is.

“I think Mike wants to get his brother Robbie in there to replace me. I don’t know why he’s behaving like that towards me.”

The two reconciled after Frank suffered the stroke in July 2022.

He passed away two years later on September 30, 2024 with Mike and loved ones by his side.

REMEMBERING FRANK

American Pickers posted on social media following Frank’s passing, “We are saddened to share that our friend and beloved member of The HISTORY Channel and American Pickers family, Frank Fritz, has passed away on September 30, 2024.

“Frank filmed American Pickers for over a decade. We will always remember ‘the bearded charmer’ and his never-ending search for vintage motorcycles and bikes. Our thoughts are with Frank’s loved ones during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed.”

Donald Trump on course for dramatic election win after flipping key state in ‘monumental’ shift, say experts

DONALD Trump is now the punters’ favourite to storm to victory in the US Election.

On the Betfair exchange, the Republican chief is on his shortest odds since the end of July.

Punters are predicting that Donald Trump will win the US election on November 5

Kamala Harris is now out to 6/4, her biggest odds since accepting the Democrat nomination.

On Never Mind The Ballots, Top Republican Strategist, Erol Morkoc, declared “we’ve got this in the bag”.

More than £145m has been wagered on the Betfair Exchange US Election markets, with over £10m staked in the last seven days.

The majority of cash, £6.6m, is coming in favour of Trump.

FINGER OF BLAME

Donald Trump blames Biden and Harris after second 'assassination' attempt

Trump is now favourite to win in a number of key swing states, including Pennsylvania, Arizona, North Carolina and Georgia.

And the betting has tightened in Wisconsin, where it’s now neck and neck, and Michigan, where Harris, who is still the favourite, has seen her odds drift.

But the latest ABC poll puts the Democrat candidate ahead of her rival, 49% to 46%.

Betfair Spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “It’s been a monumental couple of weeks on the Betfair Exchange US election winner market, with the odds significantly shifting in favour of Donald Trump.

“The punters are piling in on Donald Trump. In the last two weeks alone, £14million has been wagered on this market, the vast majority of which has gone in favour of Donald Trump.

“It going to come down to the key swing states and he’s flipped Pennsylvania. If he wins Pennsylvania, North Carolina & Georgia, the race is over.”

He added: “All the momentum in the betting has been for the former President, and he is now as short as 4/6 to win a second term in the White House.

“We’ve even seen our Pennsylvania market shift in his favour, which would have a significant impact on the race if he was to win the Keystone State.

“We’re expecting plenty more money on the Betfair Exchange market as the race to the White House enters the final two weeks, and there’s no telling if the odds might shift again, but as things stand it is Trump who’s the punters’ firm favourite.”

Betfair’s Sam Rosbottom charts Trump’s barnstorming lead among punters

Mr Morkoc and Democratic Strategist Laura Fink locked horns on Never Mind The Ballots today, as they debated just how set in stone the race is.

The Republicans Overseas chief insisted swathes of “shy Republicans” will show up to the polls on November 5, paving the way for a Trump victory.

Mr Morkoc said: “He’s got a commanding lead in each of the swing states.

“As far as polling goes, if the polls are tied people are afraid to say how they’ll vote.

“It’s not going to be an easy one, but I think we’ve got this in the bag.”

Trump has flipped the key state of Pennsylvania – making him odds-on favourite

Hitting back, Ms Finkel accused the Republicans of exerting “wild hubris”.

She said: “This is a dead heat.

“I think the latest swing state polls show Harris ahead in four out of the seven swing states.

“I think some of this wild hubris is to the detriment of the Republican Party.”

Puzzling polls - there's everything to play for

Analysis by Political Commentator Adam Boulten

If you go back to when Trump won in 2016, both the punters and the polls got it wrong.

If you go back to 2020, both for punters and the polls got it right.

This time around there’s divergence.

If you look at what the punters are saying, they are clearly favouring Donald Trump.

But the latest from the opinion poll market puts the averages for Kamala Harris on about 49% and Donald Trump on 46%.

And what’s interesting about that is Donald Trump seems to be stuck at 46% – he’s got about that in every single election.

Whereas we’re seeing now Kamala Harris getting more than Hillary Clinton from when she lost, but on the other hand less in the polls than what Joe Biden got what he won.

In those swing states, basically, if one side wins, then they win.

But what we got at the moment is a bit of a split in the polls.

In the last couple of hours, Harris has been ahead in Michigan, she’s ahead in Pennsylvania, she’s ahead in Wisconsin, she’s ahead in Nevada.

But she is behind in Arizona and Georgia, which Biden won.

She’s also behind in North Carolina.

So that does suggest there is everything to play for.

Washington DC will be besieged by rioters whether Donald Trump wins or loses election, fears security chief

WASHINGTON DC will be a no-go zone in the aftermath of the US election, a top security expert warned today.

On Never Mind The Ballots, former intelligence officer Don Bremer claimed the capital city could be engulfed by riots from both the right and left of American politics.

Gates and fences are already being propped up around DC amid fears this election could prove the most divisive, and possibly violent, in decades.

On January 6, 2021, right-wing insurrectionists stormed Capitol Hill in protest at Donald Trump losing to current President Joe Biden.

The agitators falsely claimed the election had been “stolen” from the Republicans and battled riot police for hours before finally being cleared out.

Ahead of November 5, Mr Bremer claimed that extremists on both the left and right could cause similar scenes depending on whether the result swings in their favour.

The intelligence expert said: “In DC you’re already seeing gates and fences going up around the Capitol grounds.

“Many of those haven’t been taken down since Israeli PM Netanyahu was here, but those will be reinforced.

“A lot of lessons have been learned on what needs to be done so that we don’t have a repeat.

“But I know for many firms and many offices here in Washington, during election week we’ll be working from home.”

Advising against a visit to the Capitol area, Mr Bremer added: “It’s in the best interest to avoid those situations and not put yourself in harms way.”

It comes as Trump is now the punters favourite to win the US Election.

Huge black sunglasses were placed on top of his head as he was seen to lean into his hands.

The account wrote: “Kanye West & Bianca Censori last night,” with an emoji of the flag of Japan.

This comes after Kanye was accused of drugging and raping his ex-assistant at a party with Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The new sexual harassment claims, seen by The Sun, were made in updated lawsuit brought by Lauren Pisciotta against the star.

She worked worked for the rapper between 2021 and 2022 after a career working in the music industry.

Earlier this year, Pisciotta – an influencer and former OnlyFans model – sued the rapper as she alleged the Gold Digger rapper bombarded her with sexual texts.

She also previously claimed that he masturbated on the phone with her.

In new allegations, Pisciotta claims she was “roofied” when a drink was laced with an unidentified drug, which was apparently poured and served to her by West.

The lawsuit claims: “As Plaintiff began to slip into an altered and heavily impaired state, she felt less in control of her body and speech and that is where the Plaintiff’s memories of that night escape her.”

Kanye West's recent controversies

Kanye West has faced a number of controversies in recent years.

In November 2022, a former Yeezy staffer alleged in a lawsuit Kanye showed them intimate photos of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Staffers also claimed he played pornography for them during meetings and talked about porn.

The star, who has been sued by multiple former employees, has denied all of the claims.

In October 2023, Adidas dropped the rapper as various social media sites barred him from their platforms for making anti-semitic comments online, in interviews, and with his clothing.

Amid pleas from fans and threats of major boycotts, Adidas announced its decision to terminate his contract.

Gap and Balenciaga followed suit.

Kanye has said in the past that he suffers from a porn addiction, making the comments in an online rant that has since been deleted.

Teen Mom Jenelle Evans under investigation by CPS in Vegas after boyfriend’s 911 call and trouble with sons at school

TEEN Mom Jenelle Evans is under investigation by Child Protective Services in Las Vegas after her boyfriend’s troubling 911 call and incidents involving both of her sons at school.

An insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun that CPS has once again become involved with Jenelle‘s household after a series of events involving authorities in her new hometown.

Jenelle Evans, in Vegas last month, recently moved to Las Vegas for a fresh start and promptly shipped her middle child off to Tennessee to live with his grandmother[/caption]

On August 31, Jenelle’s manager-turned-boyfriend August Keen, also known as Daniel Miranda, called 911 and accused her of physical abuse after consuming up to 12 drinks, The U.S. Sun can confirm.

CPS was also informed of two separate incidents involving her sons Jace, 15, and Kaiser, 10, at their respective Vegas schools in recent weeks.

As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Jenelle is no stranger to the CPS branch in her home state of North Carolina.

“CPS is involved, and Jenelle doesn’t want any legal action against her, that’s partially why she suddenly sent Kaiser to his grandmother’s,” the insider said, confirming that the preteen is now living with his paternal grandmother Doris Davidson in Tennessee.

(The Ashley’s Reality Roundup first reported that Kaiser had moved.)

The insider said Kaiser was involved in an incident at his school, and can no longer attend.

The U.S. Sun has chosen not to disclose the details of the alleged incident.

In the aftermath, CPS paid a visit to Jenelle’s Vegas rental.

“A CPS card was left on her door that she needed to call them because she wasn’t there,” the insider claimed.

“Within 72 hours of that card being left, she had Kaiser on the road.

“She didn’t tell him why, because she didn’t want him to say anything before she got him out of the state.”

The insider said there was an incident at Jace’s school just a few weeks before the alleged incident with Kaiser.

According to the first insider, CPS has also been in contact with Kaiser’s grandmother.

In response to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment, a rep for Clark County CPS said: “Due to child confidentiality laws, we are unable to provide comment.”

Doris told The U.S. Sun: “My job is to see that Kaiser is protected from all this negativity.  Kaiser can now read and he doesn’t need to read negative things about his mother or father.  I refuse to partake in mudslinging and measures to destroy one’s character, even if I disagree with their actions.”

August responded to The U.S. Sun: “Well that’s completely not true lol.”

FRESH START FOR KAISER

Jenelle officially moved her family from North Carolina where all her children were born to Las Vegas in mid-August, just months after filing for divorce from her ex-husband David Eason, who stands accused of strangling her son Jace.

Meanwhile, the first insider said that despite feeling “so sorry” for Kaiser’s situation, they believe he’s in the best hands now with his dad’s family in Tennessee.

According to sources, Kaiser’s father, former Teen Mom 2 star Nathan Griffith, is living in a rehabilitation community in Las Vegas, while most of his extended family reside near Doris in Tennessee.

“Kaiser is really respectful to Doris, she doesn’t even have to raise her voice to him, so I think he’s probably better off there,” one insider said.

Plus, they added, Doris has a lot of family support nearby, including Nathan’s brother and two of his sisters.

The insider added that Kaiser’s first cousins are a good influence on him.

“His aunts and uncle are more straight-laced than Jenelle or his dad are, and their kids are around his age too.

“His cousins are very, very good kids, and Kaiser tends to act more respectful around them, and I think Nathan’s extended family will help Doris out a lot.”

A third insider said: “Say what you will about David, but he really did the parenting and anything Jenelle contributed with that was because he was an example for her.”

That insider also believes Kaiser is in a better situation with Doris in Tennessee, adding “he’ll actually get taken care of and paid attention to.”

The first source added: “I think, without Jenelle having the support of other people, even if they’re toxic, like David, she’s not able to handle the kids and everything that’s going on with them on her own.

“She’s really dependent on other people to help her take care of her problems,” the source added.

That insider believes Jenelle gets an idea in her head and runs with it, and perhaps didn’t think through the plan to drop Kaiser off with his grandmother.

“I can imagine that Doris is thinking ‘Well, he’s going to live with me. It’s going to be permanent.’

“She’s not going to want to give him back.”

“Kaiser has already been through so much. I feel so sorry for that kid. He’s never gotten to live a life of stability since he’s been so small,” they added.

JENELLE’S SIDE

In a comment to Celebuzz, Jenelle confirmed Kaiser was living with Doris in Tennessee, claiming: “The reason why I wanted Kaiser to be with his father is because Kaiser is at the age where it’s important for him and his father and his father’s family to spend time with one another.

“Kaiser loves Nathan’s family and Nathan can also use some time with his son.”

However, The U.S. Sun has confirmed with multiple sources that Nathan is still living in Las Vegas, not Tennessee.

AWAY FROM SCHOOL

As The U.S. Sun previously reported, Kaiser and his sister Ensley, 7, were not in school at the end of last month

An eyewitness exclusively told The U.S. Sun that her two youngest children were not at school on September 26 and 27.

By Monday, September 30, it appears that Kaiser had begun living with Doris in Tennessee after she posted about him on her Facebook page.

The eyewitness in Vegas said at the time: “Both of the younger kids were out playing in the street in front of Jenelle’s home pretty much all day on Thursday and Friday of last week.”

They said the Teen Mom star was not seen outside either day as her youngest children played in the street.

They said that Kaiser killed time riding on his electric scooter while Ensley rode her bicycle in front of their new home.

The eyewitness said that despite not being in school, the two children looked healthy and happy.

A rep for Jenelle had told The U.S. Sun at the time that they were “not commenting” on the story regarding the youngest children’s attendance.

NEW LIFE IN VEGAS

The MTV star hightailed it from North Carolina to Sin City after filing for separation from her ex months after he allegedly strangled her oldest son Jace, 15.

While the alleged abuse incident happened back on September 28 of 2023, a court official told The U.S. Sun that the felony case against Jace’s 36-year-old stepdad is still on.

Jenelle and David's relationship timeline

The tumultuous pair have had their fair share of falling outs

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans met David Eason on Tinder in September of 2015.

Jenelle got pregnant in April 2016 and announced she suffered a miscarriage, then she became pregnant again with her and David’s daughter, Ensley, a few months later.

The pair got engaged in February 2017 and tied the knot that September.

A year after saying “I do,” Jenelle called 911 and accused David of assaulting her outside their home. She would later call the incident “a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding” and said she was “fine.”

In around May 2019, David shot and killed their French bulldog puppy named Nugget. Weeks after the incident, CPS took custody of all of the children, including their daughter, Ensley, Jenelle’s son, Kaiser, and David’s daughter, Maryssa.

When her children were returned to her, Jenelle fled to Tennessee with Kaiser and Ensley and filed an order of protection against David in October. She ultimately dropped the case and went back to him.

In the following years, the couple sparked split rumors as the pair would often unfollow each other on social media and update their Facebook relationship statuses.

As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, on February 23, 2024, Jenelle filed for separation from David. She stated that she filed the documents with “the intent that the separation be permanent” and claimed that Eason had “exhibited concerning and at times disturbing behavior towards [her]” throughout their marriage.

David, who shares Ensley with Jenelle and has two other children with two other partners, was initially charged with misdemeanor child abuse in October of 2023.

However, in January of 2024, those charges were upgraded to a felony after a grand jury indictment.

Jenelle’s oldest son told authorities that David strangled him in front of a neighbor’s house- in the aftermath of the incident, the teen ran away from his mom’s home for a third time.

Immediately after the incident, North Carolina Child Protective Services took custody of Jace from Jenelle.

The 15-year-old stayed in CPS custody until the agency suddenly dropped the case in early 2024.

When CPS gave Jenelle back custody of Jace, she was faced with a difficult situation as there was a restraining order against David which banned him from being around the teen.

Just before Jace moved back in, the father-of-three moved to the couple’s docked boat at a nearby marina.

JENELLE’S DIVORCE DEMANDS

After six tumultuous years of marriage, including a separation, multiple 911 calls and restraining orders, Jenelle filed for separation from David in February.

Jenelle was granted temporary sole custody of Ensley over the summer and is asking the court for primary physical custody of her.

She also wants child support.

Jenelle and David need to be separated for at least a year before a judge in North Carolina will grant them a divorce.

Liam Payne may have been ‘unconscious’ as he fell from 3rd floor hotel balcony as troubling pics show trashed room

LIAM Payne may have been unconscious when he fell from a hotel balcony to his death, prosecutors have said.

The One Direction star’s autopsy found he died from severe injuries sustained in the fall but that he didn’t adopt a reflex position.

Prosecutors said that given this, the position he was found in and the injuries he sustained, he may have been partly or fully unconscious when he fell, Fiscales reports.

A post-mortem revealed that Liam died after suffering “internal and external haemorrhaging” caused by the severe injuries.

Today’s post-mortem was carried out by two forensic pathologists in Buenos Aires.

Argentinian police are currently waiting for more tests to establish the details of the singer’s death.

The singer was in Buenos Aires for a holiday after going to see pal Niall Horan’s tour.

He had arrived on September 30 with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy.

Liam had shared a post on Snapchat only minutes before his death.

Harrowing pictures released have since shown the inside Liam Payne’s hotel room shortly after his fatal fall.

Argentine media have published troubling images showing white powder, burnt aluminium foil and a smashed TV screen.

Several images show what is reported to be the inside of the former One Direction singer’s luxury suite at the upmarket Hotel CasaSur Palermo, according to Argentina’s biggest newspaper Clarin.

They show traces of white powder and burnt aluminium foil in the bathroom and living area.

A green lighter and a container of Dove soap is also sat on a messy table in the trashed room.

Buenos Aires police confirmed the room was in a state of “total disorder”.

They released a statement saying: “Upon entering, total disorder was observed, with various elements broken.

“The balcony area was inspected in order to establish access to it.”

Clarin, Argentina’s biggest newspaper, published the images alongside a report saying: “Damage and drugs in the hotel room Liam Payne was staying in in Buenos Aires.”

The singer had been open about his battles with addiction in the past.

But cops are yet to confirm what the substances found in the room are and are due to run tests on them shortly.

A smashed TV can also be seen in the room next to a half-drunk champagne glass.

Clarin and several other outlets confirmed the photos were taken after Liam was found unresponsive outside.

It comes as a haunting photo of Liam – said to be his last one – shows the 31-year-old going back to Hotel CasaSur in the neighbourhood of Palermo on Wednesday.

The picture was shared by local America TV and shows the singer leaning against a wall wearing the same clothes he was seen in earlier.

The presenters said it was the last time he was seen alive just moments before he got the lift to his hotel room.

Weeping fans crowded outside the hotel holding a candlelit vigil overnight in honour of the beloved singer.

Many mourned the loss of Liam with flowers as they wiped away tears.

His loved ones say the heartbreaking news has left them “devastated”.

Neighbours said Liam’s parents left in a hurry from their Wolverhampton home at around midnight.

Two women, believed to be Liam’s sisters, were then seen entering the property at 9am this morning.

Liam leaves behind his seven-year-old son Bear whom he shared with Cheryl after the pair met when Liam was on the X Factor.

Cheryl reportedly feared the worst for her ex in the years before his tragic death.
