Big Ten announces college kick-off times for Week 9 including major broadcasting changes for Georgia-Florida

THE Big Ten has announced a major change to college kick-off times for the rest of the season.

While many fans expected to see Penn State in a prime-time matchup, the Week 9 schedule has revealed a shock twist.

Penn State is hosting Ohio State on November, a game that they slotted for their annual whiteout game.

The school typically does their traditional whiteout against their biggest opponent of the year.

Ohio State is their biggest opponent this year, but TV viewers won’t see the late-night, white out crowd this year.

Instead, Fox called in an audible to have Penn State versus Ohio State as their featured matchup for Big Noon Kickoff.

It makes sense why Fox would want to feature the two schools on their flagship college football program.

Penn State is currently ranked as the No. 3 school in the country while Ohio State is the No. 4 ranked school in the country.

The loser of this game will have a much harder time making it into the Big Ten Championship game.

While Fox is licking their chops at having the matchup on their network, Penn State fans are furious about having to move their whiteout and shared that fury on social media.

“Does anyone know when the deal with @CFBONFOX ends? I want to mark the days off on my calendar,” one fan said.

“Bizarre to play this game at noon,” another fan said.

Other fans recognized that Fox may have scheduled the game that way to ensure it doesn’t clash with a potential Game 7 in the World Series.

“Game 7 of the World Series or PSU-OSU game at night. Which one do you think is going to win out??” one fan said.

“Fox is worried about a possible game seven in the World Series,” another fan said.

Penn State isn’t the only school to have their game times moved around recently.

Georgia‘s schedule is extremely volatile and subject to change thanks to the strength of their matchups.
