Your Elden Ring Level 1 Run Skills Will Hardly Hold Up In Starfield: Shattered Space, According To Bethesda

Shattered Space is not well suited for new players since it requires prior experience of the game. It is not going to be like Elden Ring level 1 run skills since it is not meant to be played that way.

Bethesda urges players not to jump directly into the DLC since it would hinder your experience of the game by making the exploration way more difficult and challenging.

Shattered Space is not well suited for lower-level players since it has been deliberately made more challenging than the base game. The DLC is a developer’s gift to the game on it’s one-year anniversary. It will allow fans to explore new regions, face new enemies, and get their hands on many new weapons.

Bethesda has also taken a different approach this time around at integrating the DLC into the game. The previous games were known for bombarding players with notifications about all the updates received through the DLC. However, this time with Starfield, Bethesda has opted for a more natural process.

Players will not be bombarded with information about the DLC. New players will need to complete the first quest in order to gain access to the Shattered Space. To gain full access to the DLC, you will be required to become a full member of the constellation and make a grav-jump to a system not related to a mission or encounter. After completing all this, you will receive a distress call urging you to go to a new space station called The Oracle.

Tim Lamb, Lead Creative Producer at Bethesda Game Studios, talks about the intricacies of the game’s latest addition while offering his recommendations on how to approach the DLC. He said:

My recommendation would be to take your existing save and go. I want to say it’s slightly challenging. It holds that sort of horror and vibe. New players that go in early at low level, it would be more challenging.

If new players want to make the most of it, then they would need to gain at least some experience before entering the expansion offered by Shattered Space.

Starfield’s latest DLC breathed fresh air into the franchise. It had been a long time since anything new was happening in the game. Things will be changing for the better now since many more years have been added to the game’s lifecycle.

The Shattered Space story will be a part of the Starfield Premium and Constellation editions, and its owners will have direct access to the DLC with no further purchase.

The DLC is set to release on 30th September. Brace yourselves to look at the game anew with tons of new, exciting stuff to explore and marvel at. Keep in mind that new players will need to tread lightly if they want to explore the DLC from the start. Bethesda has time and again reiterated the point that the minimum level required to make the most out of the game is 35. What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments below.
