“Why it is the least respected anime of the Big 3”: Masashi Kishimoto Will be Sorry for Creating Naruto If He Sees the Wild Accusations Tite Kubo is Catching for Bleach

Both Naruto and Bleach are proud members of the Shonen Big Three trio. Tite Kubo and Masashi Kishimoto are revered for their creations and, as such, are often compared since their works inevitably fall under the same genre. However, rather than harmless comparisons, fans have now resorted to full-on warfare.

What began as an attack on the Bleach fandom has now evolved into an exchange of memes and insults. If Masashi Kishimoto and Tite Kubo knew about it, they would definitely regret creating their masterpieces only for people to make the craziest accusations.

Naruto Fans Make the Wildest Accusations Against Bleach

It is common for fans of different manga/anime franchises to love a series to the extent that they hate every other work just to prove that their favorite is the best. However, accusing another mangaka of copying their favorite with little to no proof and absolutely baseless screenshots is a different matter.

As it turns out, some fans of Naruto and Boruto have banded together to bring down any other series that has even a slight resemblance to the franchise. The latest victim of the trend is Tite Kubo’s Bleach. Fans are bringing up the most random concepts just to make it look like a scene has been ripped off.

An X post even claims that it is due to these comparisons created by fans that Bleach is the least respected anime among the Big Three. It was a reply to a post that said Masashi Kishimoto had copied Amaterasu off of Kubo’s Zombie Powder. The same user who called Bleach ‘least respected’ had previously posted an image that indicated that Bleach is a ‘cheap copy’ of the masterpiece that is Naruto.

Bleach Fans Respond to Plagiarism Accusations Against Tite Kubo

The response of Bleach fans to the baseless tweets by Naruto maniacs is nothing short of funny. Tite Kubo supporters have collectively decided to draw parallels between Naruto and every series in existence just to prove the original rumor wrong and return the favor of Naruto fans.

Some posts hilariously state that Naruto copied God of High School, and the Baryon mode was inspired by Nine Tails Guardian, the personal bodyguard of the Jade Emperor. This sarcastic reply has received a lot of comic reactions on X since God of High School was created much later than Naruto.

Other posts have screenshots of a random Bleach scene that has the same dialogue as Boruto and have stated that Boruto has copied Bleach bar for bar. Another claims that Shibai Otsutsuki from Boruto, who is considered a god, must have been inspired by the concept of a Soul King in Bleach.

Some fans have even gone to the extent of showing a Boruto antagonist being cut and then comparing it with Frieza from Dragon Ball. The only similarity between the two panels is that the villain is getting a severed torso, a common occurrence in almost every battle-oriented manga.

While the exchange between Naruto and Bleach fans is extremely amusing to read, it would be best if both fandoms could come back to their senses. Insulting another franchise does nothing to improve your favorite series; instead, you would be embarrassing the authors themselves with such silly acts.

Bleach and Naruto manga are available to read on Viz Media, and the anime are currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
