The four-time Super Bowl champion gave predictions for the AFC Champion, NFC Champion, MVP, and some other playoff bits.

Gronk started off by giving his AFC Champion pick, which he boldly proclaimed wouldn’t be the Chiefs.

“Alright AFC winner I’m gonna go with the Baltimore Ravens,” Gronk said.

“They’re gonna show why tomorrow night when they beat the Kansas City Chiefs with a big load behind Derrick Henry getting 20 plus carries, going for about one or two touchdowns and over 100 plus yards.”

The Ravens lost in the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs last season, and are looking for revenge this year.

They added Derrick Henry in the backfield to boost their offense during this critical season.

Henry is coming off back-to-back seasons of over 1,000 rushing yards, and will instantly elevate the Ravens’ offense from last year’s status.

After pleading his case for the Ravens, Gronk moved on to the NFC winner, picking a familiar face.

The 49ers won the NFC last year, and Gronk expects them to make their way to the Super Bowl once again.

“I’m gonna go with the San Francisco 49ers,” Gronk said.

“They’ve got the best team on paper once again this year. But hey, the question is can they get it done deep into the playoffs?

“They have not done that yet over the last five years, but can they do it this year? We will see.”

After previously picking the Chiefs to not return to the Super Bowl, Gronk gave them some love by picking quarterback Patrick Mahomes as his MVP.

“My MVP is going to be Patrick Mahomes,” Gronk said.

“He has plenty of weapons out there in the wide receiver corps, he’s also got Travis Kelce as obviously his safety blanket.

“So he’s going to go out there and dominate once again, but I think someone will top them off, obviously probably the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs this year.”

NFL fans will get a preview of what might be Gronk’s predicted AFC Championship game to kick off the season on Thursday Night Football.

The Chiefs and Ravens face off at 8:20 pm ET in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game.

Either the Ravens will prove that they’ve grown since losing last season, or the Chiefs will remind fans thar they are still the team to beat.
