One Piece is reaching its epic finale arc and all the Yonko’s and pirate Captains are finally making their play after Wano. With each Yonko being a powerhouse they are further accompanied by their right-hand men i.e. the Vice Captains.
We have witnessed their powers throughout the series. Such as Marco being the second strongest after the great Whitebeard himself amongst his crew to Zoro just casually tanking attacks from Kaido.

The Vice Captains in One Piece are often those people who are extremely loyal to their Captains and use their powers and strength to make their Captain’s dreams come true.
Each Vice Captain has unique abilities which if used well can be devastating to anyone but there are a few of them who stand out amongst them. We will be naming those top strongest Vice Captains in One Piece based on their feats till now in the series.
7. Shiryu
Shiryu is one of Blackbeard‘s 10 Titanic Captains and the Captain of the second ship! His role as the Captain of the second ship in Blackbeard’s crew says enough about his abilities.
It is also said that had he been on duty during the riot caused by Luffy at Impel Down, the latter wouldn’t have been able to infiltrate into the prison!
Additionally, his Devil Fruit (Suke Suke No Mi) which grants him invisibility and his expertise in Armament Haki are abilities one shouldn’t ignore!
6. Marco
Although Marco is no longer the Vice-Captain of the Whitebeard crew ever since he shuffled off the mortal coil! It doesn’t avert the fact that Marco was one of the strongest Vice Captains in One Piece.
With his Devil Fruit (Tori Tori No Mi- Phoenix) Marco has tremendous healing abilities that can heal him from any damage.
He also successfully held off King and Queen during the Wano arc where each of them had over a billion berries in bounty is a testament to his strength.
5. Katakuri
The Vice Captain of Big Mom and one of the three Sweet Commanders, Katakuri is the second strongest person in the crew. His bounty of over a billion berries signifies his terror across the globe.
In battle, Katakuri’s abilities make him hold his ground against an enraged Luffy and almost defeat him. He possessed monstrous strength since childhood and his awakened Devil Fruit (Mochi Mochi No Mi) further increases his range of attack and uses his surroundings to his advantage.
Not to forget he also possesses the extremely rare Supreme King Haki which can subdue many of his opponents.
He can also withstand Haki from the likes of Big Mom, earning him the position of one of the strongest Vice Captains in One Piece.
4. King
The right-hand man of Kaido, King is an extremely powerful individual from the Lunarian race who lived near the Red Line. An efficient swordfighter he can go toe to toe with the likes of Zoro.
Along with being physically strong, he was unfazed by Zoro’s Supreme King Haki.
During his battle in Wano, King displayed feats such as blocking Sanji’s kicks, manhandling Zoro and cutting off one of the wings of Marco’s Phoenix transformation.
These feats are enough for King to be on the list of strongest Vice Captain in One Piece.
3. Zoro
The fan favorite of millions around the globe who has zero sense of direction finally appears on the list. Zoro, pre and post timeskip has displayed his ability to fight opponents stronger than himself and live to tell the tale.
Apart from being one of the three most powerful swordfighters in the entire One Piece world, he has extremely strong Haki and the rare Supreme King Haki.
He has fought and defeated the people above on the list or at least their associates. His most notable feat was when he blocked Haki attacks from Kaido and Big Mom combined allowing his friends to escape.
He is also in possession of mighty, Enma, which is one of the two swords which could cut Kaido’s dragon skin. Thus making him the third strongest Vice Captain in One Piece.
2. Beckman
The position of right-hand man of Shanks is well deserved for Ben as he is completely aware of the workings of Shanks and how he thinks.
One of his most noticeable feats is when he had Kizaru, an Observation Haki user, at his gunpoint without the Marine Admiral realizing it.
Although not much is known about his fighting style and abilities, he is ranked second on this list because of him being Shanks’s right-hand man.
Thus, Ben is easily scalable to be the second-strongest Vice Captain in One Piece.
1. Rayleigh
The Dark King and the right-hand man of the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger! This should suffice how strong he is but let’s go into a bit more detail.
A testament to his strength was when Garp ordered the Marines not to engage Rayleigh in battle unless the Marines wanted to lose countless lives.
Also, Blackbeard ran from Amazon Lily with his tail tucked in when he found Rayleigh.
In battle, Rayleigh has displayed feats such as being faster than light and being able to kill several Sea Kings with his bare hands.
