Micah Parsons and Dallas Cowboys teammate in war-of-words over his ‘The Edge’ podcast with ‘said to me’ deleted post

During an appearance on NFL legend Keyshawn Johnson‘s All Facts No Breaks podcast, Hooker called out 2021 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Parsons for his popular podcast The Edge with Micah Parsons.

While appearing on the “All Facts No Brakes” podcast with former Pro Bowl receiver Keyshawn Johnson, Dallas safety Malik Hooker chimed in on Parsons’ podcasting hobby.

“My advice would be for Micah, it would be: Just make sure we’re all right, and being where your feet are,” Hooker said last week.

“Because if we’re out working, and the run game’s terrible but you’re doing a podcast every week — and you know the run game is terrible — then what are you really caring about?

“Are you caring about the crowd that’s watching your podcast, or are you caring about the success of our team, and the Super Bowl that we’re trying to reach?”

Parsons, who was named the president of Bleacher Report’s Gridiron in May, responded to Hooker in a since-deleted post on X.

“Just wish you said this to me but instead on some podcast!” Parsons wrote.

“And you got my number family! And you my locker mate! So you coulda said this any day! And you do realize I shoot the podcast on our off day!

“Why ain’t we talking about everyone preparations and focus.”

Hooker shared his only reply, calling Hooker his “Little Bro” and adding “His Podcast Isn’t Hurting Nothing,” on Instagram.

The edge rusher Parsons and Hooker have been Cowboys teammates for the past three seasons.

Last season, they were part of a Dallas team that won the NFC East and a defense that was among the league’s top five in most statistical categories.

However, the Cowboys lost 48-32 to the Green Bay Packers in the divisional round of last year’s playoffs which has led to plenty of questions regarding the complexion of their team.

This offseason, Parsons has brought on Houston Texans star quarterback CJ Stroud to be part of Bleacher Report’s NFL Draft coverage.

The two NFL stars also participated in sumo wrestling in Japan.

Parsons has been one of the best players in the NFL since entering the league in 2021.

He has finished in the top three in Defensive Player of the Year voting in each of his first three seasons.

Hooker signed a three-year deal with the Cowboys before the 2023 season.

Before arriving in Dallas in 2021, he began his first four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.

Hooker and Parsons will have to gear up for training camp later this month.
