The shopper urged the chain to fix the pharmacy section of its website after experiencing issues.
“When are you planning on fixing your pharmacy on your website? I can’t tell if my parents or me need medications,” the shopper raged on X.
“It has been like that since Aug 10. My father is now out of blood thinner.”
Kroger quickly took note of the complaint and responded to the customer.
“Oh no! We’re sorry to see this! Please send us a DM so that we can further assist you!” the retailer commented.
The customer was not done complaining though as they continued to share their frustration under Kroger’s call for help.
“I am totally fed up with this,” the angry shopper continued.
“Kroger needs to fix this. Everybody is having issues with checking on medications.
The shopper revealed they were a caretaker for their parents and that the pharmacy service only worked twice the previous week.
This comes after a variety of complaints have been posted all over social media slamming the chain’s pharmacy services.
Many of the complaints cite problems with Kroger’s pharmacy system, and challenges such as inaccessible websites, non-functional apps, and poor communication channels.
“Your pharmacy system has put my life in danger. I no longer trust your supply of generics. Your website, phone system, and service have been the cause of me being unmedicated, one shopper complained.
“I will no longer shop your stores or brands.”
“Y’all app and website suck when it comes to the pharmacy. You cannot do anything. Shows hardly anything,” an angry second customer wrote.
