Helldivers 2: The Railgun Needs One Last Modification from the Devs

With the recent patch update, Arrowhead Game Studios has managed to revive the hype for Helldivers 2 after the game lost most of its fanbase. In patch 1.001.100, Arrowhead improved various fan-favorite weapons and Stratagems. The update was much-needed, but Arrowhead still needs to make one more addition to the Railgun to make it exciting.

After the Escalation of Freedom update failed, Arrowhead realized it was following a horrible strategy that was ruining the game. To turn things around, they came up with a 60-day plan to fix the game and so far, things are looking good. Not just buffs, but many other gameplay elements in the game were fixed in the update.

The Railgun In Helldivers 2 Needs A Better Scope

The RS-422 Railgun was nerfed to the ground by Arrowhead Game Studios but fortunately, the studio decided to tweak it to make it powerful again. however, there is still one thing wrong with the Stratagem.

The Railgun’s durable damage was increased from 60 to 225 and its overcharging damage was buffed from 150% to 250%. These changes indeed made the Railgun better, but giving it a better scope would make it much better as it will allow players to hit targets more accurately. This small tweak will definitely improve the overall gaming experience and make Railgun one of the best weapons in the game.

Arrowhead Game Studios Has Confirmed That More Improvements Will Be Made Soon

Fans should expect to see more improvements in the future as Johan Pilestedt, Arrowhead’s CCO, recently confirmed on social media that they will rework other stratagems in future updates.

Helldivers 2 was one of the most popular games in the world at one point, but very soon, the game got boring and repetitive. Due to stiff competition, Arrowhead failed to convince the fans to continue playing the game. Things got worse when Arrowhead and Sony tried to implement the PSN account linking policy as the community bombarded the game’s Steam page with bad reviews. The policy was revoked but the damage was done.

Thanks to the recent update, Arrowhead managed to make the game relevant again. After mercilessly nerfing popular Stratagems, the studio had to change them back to how they were. The community’s response has been positive so far, so it seems like Arrowhead’s 60-day plan is working. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the Illuminate, the third rumored faction of the game. With the game gaining popularity again, this is the perfect time for Arrowhead to introduce the Illuminate.
