Henne represented the Chiefs’ third Super Bowl win in the 2022 season, where a heroic drive helped the team make it to the big game.

In the Divisional round of the playoffs, Patrick Mahomes went down with an ankle injury in the second quarter.

After only throwing two passes during the regular season, Henne stepped into the game and led a 12-play, 98-yard touchdown drive, the longest in Chiefs playoff history.

The play gave the Chiefs a two-score score lead, and the confidence to play strong until Mahomes returned to the game.

Henne also had some playoff heroics in the 2020 season.

Against the Cleveland Browns, Mahomes was removed from the divisional round to be evaluated for a concussion.

Henne came into the game and helped the Chiefs hold on for a five-point win.

He made an iconic 13-yard run, diving for the first-down line, before throwing a game-clinching pass to Tyreek Hill.

Fans loved seeing Henne get honored at the game, and shouted him out on social media.

“Chad Henne is a grade A dawg,” one fan said.

“Lol divisional hero Chad Henne trending we love to see it,” another fan said.

“I remember Chad Henne. Let’s not disrespect the former Michigan great,” a third fan said.

“Chad Henne, I salute you!” a fourth fan said.

“Shoutout to Chiefs legend Chad Henne,” a fifth fan said.

Henne was drafted with a second-round pick of the NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.

He spent four years with the Dolphins, starting some games, before moving to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

He got some time as a starter there, but moved on to become a career backup, eventually landing with the Chiefs in 2018.

Henne retired after the 2022 season, finishing his career with 13,290 yards, 60 touchdowns, and 63 interceptions.
