Coronation Street favourite Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) opened up to Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) in recent scenes after a knockback from ex-fiancé Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).
Things came to a head in Daisy’s relationship with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) last week when he came to the realisation that she was still in love with Daniel, and decided to end things between them.
When the news of the breakup reached Daniel, he was quick to pay Daisy a visit in the Rovers to check she was okay.
The pair soon settled down for a discussion, where Daisy admitted that Ryan was right, and she was still in love with Daniel.

However, Daniel made it clear that he was happy with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) in tonight’s episode when he made a pointed comment to Daisy about waiting for her to return home with ‘open arms’.
Bethany is currently in hospital in Turkey having undergone emergency surgery after a botched liposuction procedure.
The treatment left her bowel severely damaged, and she was devastated to learn that she would need a stoma bag for the rest of her life.
Later, as Daisy cleared up the pub with Jenny, the conversation turned to her chat with Daniel, and Daisy admitted that she had confessed her feelings and been knocked back.
When Jenny asked what she was going to do, Daisy admitted that she thought it was time to move on.
