President Joe Biden has reportedly acknowledged that he may not be able to save his reelection run after stuttering and stumbling through the first debate.

Biden told a key alley that he is aware he may not be able to recover from last Thursday’s debate against Donald Trump unless he demonstrates to Americans he is capable over the next few days.

‘He knows if he has two more events like that, we’re in a different place,’ the anonymous ally told The New York Times on Wednesday morning.

All eyes will be on the president for his interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on Friday and his campaign rallies in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Biden is ‘well aware of the political challenge he faces’, an unidentified top adviser to him told the newspaper.

White House spokesman Andrew Bates quickly told The Times that the report was ‘absolutely false’ and that they were not given sufficient time to respond.
