‘Beat the burger allegations’ Sheamus shows off ‘shredded’ body transformation months after ‘overweight’ WWE appearance

WWE icon Sheamus has ditched the quarter pounders to inspire an incredible body transformation.

The Irishman was mocked for being out of shape when he made a long-awaited return to wrestling in April.

WWE rival Drew McIntyre used Sheamus’ “banger after banger” catchphrase against him during their contest.

“Since you came back it looks to me it’s been burger after burger after burger after burger,” he joked.

The Celtic Warrior, 46, clearly took the words to heart and responded by getting into superb shape.

Sheamus showed off his impressive physique on Instagram this week and fans celebrated his hard work.

“Crazy how yall made fun of his weight he returned. Dude would Brogue Kick everyone’s lights out,” commented one.

“bro beat the burger after burgers allegations,” joked another.

A third wrote: “I told them haters not to get you motivated again. No more burgers/ only bangers!! Oh baby!!”

“Used to be burger after burger, but now it looks like Spinach after spinach,” suggested a fourth.

Sheamus took part in a three-way match on RAW this week and suffered a disappointing defeat despite his toned figure.

He was struck by a shillelagh wielded by Pete Dunne and showed off a nasty-looking red mark across his back on Instagram.

“What he doesn’t realise is.. Irish retribution is a completely different thing. #petesdone this is war,” he captioned the post.

Fellow WWE superstar Rhea Ripley stunned fans with photos of her posing in gym gear last week.

Her 4.3million followers were left telling her “you are everything” in the comments section.

Ripley posed in front of a mirror for the post-workout selfies as she flaunted her tattoos and physique.

Alongside the post, she attached a sweat droplets emoji as the caption, with her fans quick to flood the comments.

One follower wrote: “Breaking the internet once again.”

Another commented: “You are everything.”

A third fan also added: “Hot. Hot. Hot.”

Meanwhile, one more simply hailed: “Stunning.”

Ripley has had a busy year both in and out of the WWE ring having ended her Women’s World Championship title reign.

She tied the knot with fellow Aussie wrestler Buddy Matthews in June.
