Ahead of the big November election, many Hollywood biggies have come forward in support of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, which involves the likes of Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Scarlett Johansson, etc. Things aren’t too different in Donald Trump’s case either, as several other notable industry figures have thrown their hat in the ring for the Home Alone star.
Keep on reading to get a glimpse of some major celebs, who have come forward in support of Trump, including Zachary Levi, notable for his stint as Shazam in the now-defunct DCEU.
Zachary Levi
Coming from a Christian conservative family, Zachary Levi, who was previously supporting independent candidate RFK Jr, has now decided to endorse Donald Trump following the former’s campaign’s suspension. Further elaborating on it, the actor claimed that Trump is the only candidate capable of restoring the nation back to its former glory and “Make It Great Again”.
50 Cent
Over the years, 50 Cent has gone back and forth with his support for the Home Alone star. While he eventually walked back from endorsing Trump during the 2020 election, the acclaimed rapper took the internet by storm in the wake of the assassination attempt on Trump. In an altered cover for Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin album, the rapper replaced his face with that of Trump.
James Woods
Casino star James Woods, too, has been pretty vocal about his pro-Trump stance, which eventually cost him the executive producer credit from Oppenheimer. Despite serving as an EP on the Oscar-winning biopic, the actor revealed that he was asked to remain invisible from the film’s marketing, given his political leaning, and he eventually decided to take one for the team.
Azealia Banks
As for Azealia Banks’ verdict on Trump, while the rapper has been vocal about her support for him, her reasoning is a total contrast to that of Levi. Talking to The Standard, Banks expressed her admiration for the former president’s ability to avoid accountability, stressing, “Nothing can take him down.” In addition to that, the rapper also admitted to finding the Home Alone star funny.
DaBaby
DaBaby, too, has added his name to the list of musicians who support Trump. Speaking of the former president, the rapper confessed: “Do I f–k with Trump? Now? Hell yeah”. The Point Em Out rapper further added that Trump is a real gangster, as he commended the Home Alone star for pardoning Kodak Black, which was one of his final acts before his tenure in the office ended.
As for celebs standing opposed to the former president, the list includes:
Jennifer Lawrence
Opposed to the musical giants listed above, Jennifer Lawrence has opted to vote against Trump in the upcoming election. Speaking of it, she strongly spoke of reproductive rights and believes Harris will strongly look into this.
Bill Nye
Following in Lawrence’s footsteps, notable television figure Bill Nye, too, has stood against Trump. He further called out Trump for denying climate change and urged the people to vote “with the climate in mind”.
Billie Eilish
Alongside her brother Finneas, pop icon Billie Eilish confirmed that they’d be voting for Kamala Harris instead of Trump. Like Lawrence, she is assured Harris will be “fighting to protect our reproductive freedom” and democracy.
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift, who currently stands as one of the most influential figures in the globe, has too spoken in support of Harris. Shortly after Harris debated with Trump, Swift took to her IG to deem the former a steady-handed, gifted leader.
George Clooney
George Clooney was one of the first major Hollywood figures to endorse Kamala Harris in her historic quest. The Batman & Robin star, who previously spoke in support of Joe Biden, shared they will do “whatever we can to support Vice President Harris”.
These are some of the most notable celebs, who’ve made their political stances known ahead of the November election, and it remains to be seen what the future holds for Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
